Actual tracks that have been worked up and shelved.

Now I could be way off, but I imagine a scenario where the masters were provided to be worked for future a release but held until previous agreements expired for those masters.

Great link. Really impressive to see that if pushed they can crank out a pack in 24 hours.

Also interesting that some packs do get shelved for "various reasons" or killed completely at the last minute.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Guess I got my HOPO-Cidal Maniac on the one-month anniversary. XBox.com says 11/26/2010 for me.

I used to play this game almost exclusively, but it's dropped so much for me that I even forgot yesterday was DLC announcement. I need another disc game to rejuvenate me, and hope that they release one as a launch title for the NextBox.

That's one of the three exclusive artists that Powergig had. Kid Rock and Eric Clapton were the other two. Maybe we'll see something from them in the future now.

Just a coincidence that Powergig is just now a little over two years old? October 19th, 2010.

I, for one, love DMB, am a huge fan and am delighted I'll finally be getting a little bit of their music now (including Ants Marching, which is my all-time favorite DMB song).

The fact that Loggins isn't a 3-pack with Danger Zone is a god-damned travesty!

Yeah, strange that they didn't (or couldn't) go for the Kenny Loggins soundtrack trifecta, but I'm still in for the two.

There was still like 3 or 4 other songs they could've used as well. I think every movie in the 80s featured a Kenny Loggins song.

Does this mean we will be seeing DLC from Boz Scaggs, Toto, Michael McDonald, and Christopher Cross?

Meet Me Halfway - from Over The Top (1987)
For The First Time - from One Fine Day (1996)
Your Heart Will Lead You Home - from The Tigger Movie (2000)
Nobody's Fool - from Caddyshack 2 (1988)

I think that's it excpet for the ones you mentioned -- and the extra songs he contributed to the Top Gun (Playing With The Boys) and Footloose (I'm Free) soundtracks
