These 4 new announced songs seem to verify that rumored list of the 10 remaining songs that was posted earlier in the thread.

That's a great freaking deal there. I would have totally paid $20. Can't wait for this game.

I've been following the threads over at RB.com and HMXPope did pretty much say that there would be 25 songs...so I assume Kelly C., Maroon 5, Soundgarden, Queen, RHCP, and Foo from the leaked list will be announced at some point in the near future.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
So I don't know if you guys have been following the (artificial?) drama going on in one of the Rock Band Blitz threads over at RB.com, but there is a purported list of the last 10 songs in Blitz.
I'm not exactly sure how people came to get it, but it seems that it involves an anonymous source IMing forum members the list along with screenshots of said songs posted on a photo site and tie-ins to a Twitter account. You can try and sort through it all starting here (since posts have been pulled, it's hard to follow.)
As of right now, the photos have been yanked from the site and HMX hasn't come out and said, "These are songs fake and this isn't the final list," so of course that fuels the frenzy. I have no idea if it's real or not...it could just be ultimate set list material. But I thought it would make for fun speculation nonetheless. I'll hide the list in case you think it's spoiler-worthy.

Spoiler:
If this were DLC I'd only be buying two (RHCP + Foo Fighters) but there are a few guilty pleasures on there that I'll be glad to own like Jesse's Girl.

Where's the mad rush to post next week's DLC?!!?
I don't know any of those songs by title alone, but...yeah.

You guys don't listen to much new stuff, do ya? Foster the People was one of the biggest bands of 2011. Started as a small indie Internet thing in 2010 and then blew up. Nominated for Grammies and such. Not that I give a crap about music award shows...

I've heard of Foster the People, so I guess I'm not quite an out-of-touch grandpa yet, but I do not know either of those songs by name.

I didn't know the songs by name either, but I watched the little DLC preview trailer thing and recognized "Don’t Stop". I'll probably pick that one up.

After listening to a bit of both of those songs, I think I found one word to describe that band... "sterile".

When I saw on Twitter that The Strokes were a part of next week's DLC, I was hoping we'd get "Someday", "Hard to Explain", or "Last Nite". I will have to give this song a listen.

I have never heard Killswitch Engage, but I think that metal is the most fun genre to play songs you don't know.
