Don't know any of these, so I don't think I care.
Of course, I also like having multiple songs by artists I like. (And the discount.) I guess I'm saying that I want it both ways. :) |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Sure, but just because they are varied doesn't mean they're good. I need to give the Rise Against song a listen because I do enjoy some of their stuff in RB.

Mudvayne is a welcome addition to the library!

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Will buy everything like normal but haven't been really excited over anything this year.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Just Rise Against for me...
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
More Rise Against! So, that's 1 out of 3 for next week...better than it has been lately, at least.

Seem like a very good mix of challenging, attainable, and longevity.
WTF. 500 points? I thought the max was 400 now for XBLA. I guess they're including a DLC pack worth 100 like they did for RB3. Bizarre. |

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
This has been kind of a long streak without much I've been interested in - other than Blitz.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
lol @ Daughtry.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Yeah, it's been pretty weak DLC for the last two months or so. Hopefully things pick up next month after Blitz comes out.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Disagree about "weak". Maybe safe? Definitely varied. I've bought a ton of single tracks, not to mention RBN.
I'll get off your lawns now, grandpas. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I think the only DLC song I've purchased in the past few months was that semi-awful "Fireflies" song that was so-helpfully "Suggested" to me while I scrolled through my song collection -- the kids saw that one listed and started begging to play it. Any way to turn off that feature?

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Yeah this has been the worst stretch of DLC since the game started, no doubt. But on the plus side we should have the TAG initiative starting soon (fingers crossed) and Blitz looks to have a good soundtrack. Plus Brand New Key is coming from RBN this month.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Anyone know where I could get an Export code for the Country Track Pack #1? I have the disc, but I would definitely rather have these songs in my main game.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
TAG initiative? Something tells me I've had this explained to me once before.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
TAG is that Kickstarter thing that was attempting to get more artists (and more recognizable artists) onto RBN.
Obviously the weak DLC thing is just an opinion, but I feel like there hasn't been anything really surprising/exciting/fun to play in quite a while. |

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Per the Harmonix Twitter account, they'll be announcing Blitz pricing and release date next week.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Meh gotta be $20 and it's after the Summer of Arcade so late August or early September. I really hope they have some good DLC on the week it's released and for the month afterwards. Don't look forward to the Friday morning announcements like I used to.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Even the first couple of weeks after SoA are starting to fill up so Imma go ahead and guess September 12.
|
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
$20 sounds likely, but I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to hit $15. Either way, I'm all in.
