Earthrealm might not have so much trouble if they fought in fields of flowers, or something similar. Such negative places. Lobby for a match or two at Disneyland, Motaro wouldn't have a chance with all the kids wanting pictures.

I pre-ordered this for 360. I'm a bit worried though as there is no page for it listed on Xbox.com and there has been almost zero advertisement for it as everything has been hyped for the PS3 version.

bought my ps3 yesterday from buy.com ... also ordered 2 of the tournament editions so i can have 2 fight sticks. so im basiclaly shelling out $600 to play the game, but if it's not great ill just resell everything and probably not be out very much. im really hoping there are some classic MK's hidden in the game, the fight stick will be great for those (or possibly the rumoured MK HD arcade collection will finally see a release)

Can't believe there's a charge for playing online, ridiculous. Are those DLC characters available immediately or has a release date been set?

To be fair, that is ONLY if you buy the game second hand. It's not like we are going to buy the game on Tuesday for $60 and have to pony up another $10 if we try to play it online.

Ps3 does this far less than 360 does so it's moot :P

That Avatar-Based lobby they announced for Spectator Mode looks quite funny. I fully expect low scores, tomatoes being thrown and lots of the usual online Racial/Homophobic slurs.

All of my friends will be playing it on XBOX also, but I just can't imagine playing it with the XBOX controller's shitty D-Pad so I'm getting the PS3 version.

tried the new platinum controller's d-pad? leagues better than current gen, i think. could be the answer for this type of game...

I really dig the new 360 platinum controller, and it's D-pad is an improvement over the old one, but it's still not nearly as good and responsive as the Dualshock's D-pad, in either configuration.

A friend of mine who lives locally is a SSFIV Tournament Pad Player.

He used to play on the 360 controller but recently bought one of these and has had nothing but good things to say about the D-Pad. He brought it to a session once or twice, but I hadn't messed around with it.

Looks great, except that it's a wired controller. I almost bought that Razor controller recently until I realized it was wired. Why does anyone make wired controllers?
