do you use the controller to turn on the ps3 or the power button? I have no idea if it makes a difference or not...

oh, and is the keyboard power switch on at all times?

I have a bunch of Rock Band dongles that are plugged into my PS3 at all times. I start my PS3 by pressing the button on my controller. My controller always comes up as controller 1.

I am planning on picking up a PS3 and was wondering which hard drive to get. Is the 320gb worth the extra $50 compared to the 160gb? I know this is a basic question but I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

I don't think its worth it.

I would say no, because you can get a 500GB drive for $50-60. Get the 160GB and see if it suits your needs, then you can upgrade later if needed. If you're just using it for game installations and PSN games, it should be enough. The larger drives are more for people who load them up with videos and music.

Thanks for answers, I will go with the 160.

I would argue though that the 320GB Move bundle is worth the $100 extra dollars. You can look at it as getting the move for $100 more with a free HD upgrade. Or as buying the 320GB version and getting the move bundle for $50.

Either of those PS3s go cheap on Warehouse Deals. There was a brand new PS3 320GB with Move two days ago with a severely beaten up box but never opened/used for only $238. The PS3 160GBs I've seen for under $200 I think.

Like New PS3 160GB for $224 at Warehouse Deals: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=all

There's another 160GB up using my previous link if nolanpb or anyone else is looking for one.

I just picked up The Sly Collection last week, even though I've played all three games in the past. It really holds up surprisingly well. The stealth platforming, the sneaking, the big caper planning -- it all works so well together. I had forgotten how much fun those games were (if not especially challenging). For $40 (- $15 gaming coupon last week at Kmart), you get a lot of value for your buck. The upgraded graphics aren't revelations like they were in God Of War Collection, but they're still pretty nice. And there are three Platinum Trophies if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm working on this and I have the first 2 Plats but the 3rd is a bit of a bitch. It requires you to get 100% which includes passing all of the Master Thief Challenges and some of them are hard as hell and frustrating. I need to get that one last trophy for the final Plat and 100% of games' trophies.

Don't know if I've been this embarrassed since 9th grade Gym class. But to be fair, I hardly play anything on a PS3.

And I've only played GoW 1, 2, 3 and a couple PSN games.
