uhh... that's really a spoiler? Really?

I'll spoilerize it, but I'm pretty sure you're joking...

Probably because we don't have tornadoes. Take THAT, Oklahoma!

We'd rather have the tornados over Canadians.

I think both would be fun. We could sit on our vinyl lawn chairs on the porch of our trailers drinking our banquet beer and watch their flappin' heads flying away in the storm.

So I just got the Slim and didn't realize the box only comes with a standard A/V cable. I had forgotten how TERRIBLE games look without HD! I don't think I can play until the HDMI cable comes in on Thursday.

Want to tell us what YOU want to see for an upcoming Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week? The next time you sign into Xbox LIVE, head over to the Spotlight channel and check out the Member’s Choice Deal Of The Week Poll.* Here you can vote on what you want to see for an upcoming Deal. You can choose from Deathspank for 33% off, Perfect Dark for 50% off or discounts on select Dragon Age Origins, Trials HD or BF BC2 content. You can only vote once per Gold Account, so choose carefully.
I'm totally going for that deal on Deathspank, though it'll lose. Only one remotely interesting to me.

Which RPG would you guys recommend I play next:

Oblivion
Fallout 3
Dragon Age

Dragon Age. The other two are the same game, so I'd only play one of them.

Xbox LIVE Update Preview Program

I am happy to announce that we’re doing an Xbox 360 System Update Preview program for our next release, and the opportunity to sign up is now available. The Preview Program will give you the chance to check out ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Zune music, Netflix search, the new Xbox LIVE dashboard, and new updates to Zune video and Family Settings on your Xbox 360*. Much like we did last year, you’ll need to visit the Microsoft Connect site from this link and sign in with your Windows LIVE ID that is connected to your Xbox LIVE Gamertag. Once you complete the survey that is presented to you, the Connect site will notify you immediately if you’ve been accepted. A couple of points before you head off to register:

We’re looking for multiple thousands of participants, so your chances of making it in are good.
This is not for Kinect. You will not be receiving a Kinect sensor if you are chosen to participate.
This opportunity is open to all Xbox LIVE Members in regions where Xbox LIVE is available.
To avoid any problems, read the survey carefully and double check all the information your provide.
While both Xbox LIVE Gold and Silver members can sign up, Priority will be given to Gold members in the selection process.
I’ll be sure to updated this post if the program fills up.

Sign up for the Xbox LIVE Update Preview Program

Good luck!

I signed up and got accepted immediately, so their standards are pretty low. It says it'll be starting within two weeks which is perfect timing to fuck up my system for Comic Jumper and Rock Band 3.

Party chat won't work with non-preview members? That sucks.

They're changing the codec, you knew that. Non-preview members' Xboxes are too stupid to know the new language. Plus people that don't get the new preview aren't worth talking to anyway. It'll only be 2-3 weeks before it's rolled out to everyone.

do what you will with this information, I only provide the info, but...

Plants vs Zombies is free for Taiwanese Xbox members.

So... so... I guess bully! for our Taiwanese members here. I'm sure we'll soon discover there are quite a few.

Continuing my conversation with myself

MS is now offering a Bing toolbar that gets you Bing rewards if you sign up. When you sign up you automatically get 250 points. And then there are a number of offers you can click on to get more points. For me there were 5 offers worth six points a piece. You also get points it seems for every five searches you do.

The point of all this is that Xbox related stuff is available for the rewards. 100 Bing reward points gets you 100 MS Points for Zune/xbox. If you sign up, and do the offers, that's 300 MS Points right there.

Something to think about.

Also, I won another 400 points from Ford today. that's 3 for me and yet 0 for my gf. weird.

I just did the bing thing, had a fewo ffers for 12 points, bringing me up to 300 - so I cashed out and uninstalled the toolbar, as it REALLY slowed down my PC.

Major Nelson just tweeted within the last couple of hours that they are now full. No more sign-ups.

Is NBC a daily giveaway? I thought it was awarded at the end of the promotion like HP.
