Sorry. Here is the official Don & Mike thread:

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/other-talk/...-accident.html

Brent L gets the credit for clueing me in to the fact that Don is back on the air.

So how about that Kinect, huh? That's gonna be cool, right? Right?

re: The official Xbox 360 thread - the console of choice on nuclear submarines

is there anyway to not "update" a game and still be connected to XBOX Live after update prompt?

i am trying not to install a patch and when i say "no to update" i am disconnected to Live. therefore, when i get in game my current save file and downloaded content isn't there obviously.

i want to say no to update and then connect so i can use my current save file. i've tried unplugging from modem and then replugging, etc...

thanks for some more help.

Why can't you update and use your old save file?

No because patches are meant to keep the online playing field level. If the developer fixes a glitch or exploit, all players have to have the same version of the game to play. It doesn't matter if you're playing in single player mode.

No latest == No online.

By the way, how is that not obvious? How did google or support.xbox.com not come through for you?

Text "jcp" to 74139 for a chance at 400 points. It looks like you can enter every day and there are winners announced each week.

Have at it!

A lot of these are found on the dashboard. The event was under some NBC thing. Beats was under DJ hero/Hp something. Madden is in-game.

Oh yeah. And they're on CAG. :-)

Well TL, thank you just the same. Seriously, if I win any of these and there was a way to gift you a percentage, I would totally do it

Special Edition Fable 3 Controller comes out 10/3. It's supposed to resemble the crown of Albion, apparently. It also comes with a downloadable code for an exclusive tatoo for your character. It's pricey at $59.99 and the last thing I need is another wireless controller, but it is nice looking.

Me too. I seen the picture yesterday and thought this had to be the ugliest controller ever.

Okay, maybe it's an ugly pattern. I like the color, though.

It's not bad. But at $60 bucks, no way in heck. Wake me up when it's about $25 and I'll consider it. Perhaps. (They really could have done better though)

+1

Color scheme is solid, it's the pattern that is ugly as sin.

I've seen worse looking controllers. Like the Halo ones.

text "fiesta" to 80800 for a chance at 400 points. looks like enter once a day? can't tell yet.

the reply back also states that you're opted into alerts for ford at 2 per month at most. as a fyi.

Thanks. That puts me up to 3 text messages sent a day. I am going to be a little sad if I don't win at least one of them.
