I think it's all part of a grand conspiricy to make Gyromancer look that much more desirable when it's released next week. And perhaps to create a "saving up points for something good" mentality to soften the blow that Serious Sam HD will be 1600 points (at least it's $20 on Steam) when it finally comes out.

Oh, and I believe we have a new all-time 360voice low : W&G Episode 4 tallied 17 users on release date (episode 3 tallied 24 and episode 2 got 73). I guess dumping all three episodes at once wasn't a very profitable idea.

People are likely going to buy them as they go, buying all 3 at once seems a tad overzealous. Could sell fine in the long run, though.

Oh, I know nobody was going to buy them all at once, but I think you'd agree that it would probably have sold better if released once a month rather than dumped all at once and immediately after two other point & click adventures in the past 2-3 weeks.

NBA unrivalled for 1200 points.? Is this the norm now for xbox live arcade games? Any reviews out there for this game

Well, I tried demos of all three this morning. I pretty much hated NBA Unrivaled. It plays very bad, not at all responsive. You'd be far better off getting NBA Street Homecourt for $15 than this thing. I like that they have all team players and even some bench players for subs, but they don't reflect real life stats (Derreck Fisher's a better shooter than Kobe? Really?). They also have a very ugly look. I'm not upset that they used sprites, they did in NBA Jam, but here they look ugly and....odd. The best analogy I can come up with is that they look like the Globetrotters who meet Scooby Doo. Did not dig it at all.
OD Beat Drop got an 8.5 from IGN. I don't know. It seems okay, but just like every other falling block game out there. I've never understood the block attack dynamic, never got it in Puzzle Fighter or in Meteos and I don't understand it here. Also didn't really get how music is incorperated into gameplay. Might have to revisit it later.
Encleverment was the surprise. I don't know if I'll buy it, but it is a much nicer brain tester than the other one which is a greatest hit now. It has charm and the demo is actually pretty fun. My daughter was begging for me to buy it this morning and you know what, I just might.

Despite all the mocking made in this thread, I'm surprised it's taken this long for a Bible program on Indie Games. Wouldn't be surprised if we see more religion based programs/games on the service as it seems like it is a cheap way to produce games and the Christian populous is known to be a very loyal target audience (see Fireproof)

It has certainly worked on the iTunes store. There are a ton of religious apps and some of them seem pretty interesting.

Being in a portable format though seems way more useful than on a console.

So.... getting back to XBLA talk : did anyone get OD Beat Drop? The reviews are pretty good. I'm wondering if I just didn't "get it" and perhaps it's really a good game. Any thoughts?

Deal of the Week is 3 on 3 NHL Arcade for 400 points. Still not sure it's worth it, but the demo was at least a little fun for a couple of minutes.

Downloaded the demo again for nhl and decided against getting glad I didn't Peggle expansion and Magic expansion gives me plenty to do.

I picked up 3 on 3 NHL Hockey. I found it to be quite the enjoyable and you don't get the chance to buy many XBLA at $5 nowadays.

Was entertaining the thought of 3 on 3 NHL until I saw that Peggle Nights info. Now I know what I'll be playing in the Arcade for some time to come.
