I, for one, am glad there have been no deals or XBLA games I just have to have the last few weeks. I really don't want to buy points at retail cost. Even my Lego Rock Band export is going to have to wait :(

Joystiq has an article saying Ep3 of W&G is free for a limited time, but doesn't specify if that's PC and XBLA? Anybody know?

The discount and free game will only be available until November 8. |

After having played W&G Ep. 1, Sam and Max: Season 1, and in the process of finishing the final two episodes on Season 2, I'll say they dropped the ball big time with the pricing on W&G.
Sam and Max retail for $20 and you get 6 episodes in the first season, 5 in the second. Each take 90-120 mins to complete if you don't mess around with all the conversations. W&G take around 150-180mins each, tops, and that is 100% complete. Add to that, the W&G games have no dynamic dialogue, and you end up with an obscenely overpriced set of games. |

According to the "Coming Soon" dashboard blade, Gyromancer is coming soon. It appears to be a Puzzle Quest clone made by the dream team of PopCap and Square. The puzzle sections use a Bejeweled Twist type jewel matching. Sounds potentially pretty cool and almost certainly better than Galactrix.

I'd also have to assume that Call Of Duty comes out next week since the download code is included in the deluxe versions of MW2, though I guess Banjo Kazooie came out two weeks early for those that preordered Nuts & Bolts and got a preorder code, so maybe not. |

This week's completely forgetable XBLA release will be OD Beat Drop, which looks like about 50 current Indie games and will sell for 800 points.
