That should be your secret shame. Imagine Excite-Bike as a platformer. It's pretty much the best, most addicting XBLA game since GeometryWars and/or Pac-Man: CE. Try the demo, you'll be hooked.

It's not one of my favorite fighting games, but it's not bad. If you're that far invested into The Summer of the Arcade, I'd say go for it. In either case, you have until the end of the month to decide.

If not for that promo, there's no way I'd have bought TMNT Reshelled. That game does nothing for me. On the other hand, it did coax me into buying Trials HD, which I'm kind of impressed with (though it might have been easier to take at 800 points). As hard as it is, the instant restarts make it tolerable.

Sweet, I'll check it out (when I have time, argh).

Is it great? No. Especially memorable? No. Is it worth well more than a dollar? Yes. Would I put 4 quarters into an Arcade machine that had this game in it? Hell yes!

The first is the best puzzle game i have played on XBLA and has an incredible soundtrack.

Nextwar is a good tower defense game.

Weapon Of Choice is a really professional looking Contra-style shoot-em-up with multiple paths and crazy weapons. It's a really fun game that's really only marred by the inexplicable lack of any scoring system. (400 points)

CarneyVale : Showtime is a wonderful circus platformer that kind of plays like Peggle in reverse. You shoot out a cannon and grab things to propel you upwards while popping balloons to increase your score (ah, a score, what a concept!). (400 points)

I played the PC demo and really liked it. I was going to buy it, but then decided to wait for the 360 demo. That was a long wait.... Anyway, I'm buying it for one of the two platforms after playing the 360 demo.

I dunno, I'm a little tower-defensed out. Plus I need a week off after the Summer of Arcade promotion, for my wallet's sake.

Well...to be fair the game is a pretty eye opening social commentary on the modern day threats that we face as a nation as well as individuals. The title really should have been more serious.
