I'm sorry, but I'm not at all nostalgic for old FPS titles. I don't think there's any other genre that seems as dated. Personally, I'd much rather play Battlefield 1943 than Doom 2 online.

According to the Ubisoft site, this is our 9/16 release: http://www.ubi.com/US/Games/Info.aspx?pId=8092

Panzer General® Allied Assault takes place during the last phase of World War II, from 1944 to 1945. The dramatic events of D-Day finally gave the Allies a foothold on Fortress Europe, allowing them to push the Germans back to Berlin.
Recreate actual battles such as Utah Beach, Operation Market Garden, and the infamous Battle of the Bulge in the hopes of turning back the German tide. Build, customize and fight with your personalized deck of 60 cards. History is in your hands!
Key Features
CARD GAME MEETS BOARD GAME
Thanks to the Collectible Card Game mechanics, you can swap out Unit Cards in your deck for the perfect mix of tanks, artillery and infantry. Add in special Action Cards to “break the rules” and surprise your opponent with air strikes and reinforcements. Then, retool your deck with new cards awarded after each single or multiplayer victory.
A TASTE OF HISTORY
Dive into the history of World War II. 3D models of vehicles used during the War march across your board. Discover the cities where desperate battles took place, such as Bastogne and Carentan. It’s a new and exciting way to learn history.
PLAYER V. PLAYER (PVP) MODE
Play with a friend and have access to the special Unit and Action Cards you have unlocked in the single player Campaign. The more you play, the more cards you unlock!

Nope. Today is the first anyone in the public's heard about it, as far as I can tell. It's only a month away (allegedly).

Serious Sam HD footage:

Looks great. I'm curious why there wasn't any footage of the giant battles with hundreds of enemies on screen though.
Looks like I'll be breaking my $10 barrier twice within a few weeks, for this and probably Shadow Complex.

FWIW, I'm having way more fun with Trials HD than I did with 'Splosion Man.
It's so much fun and addicting. Though it's a little unfair in places where you can't see very well, and you fuck up because of that, and not because it's challenging. But it's such a blast - there's a lot of content here for 1200 points.
At least try the demo!

I love the Trials demo. I think it's an amazing looking game. If Shadow Complex wasn't this week (or I wouldn't have wasted $20 on the Gears DLC - I HATE ME!) I would definitely have already picked it up. As it stands, I just keep playing the demo over an over and over.....

Pretty satisfied with the XBLA Summer games, even Turtles in Time has provided some entertainment.
Hopefully Shadow Complex will trump them all, til then Splosion Man is still tops for me.

Even though I'm still not done and the year isn't over, I think Splosion Man will end up being in my top 5 of the year.

Splosion Man and Trials HD are both highlights of this year's downloadable game release list, and it sounds like Shadow Complex will soon be joining that group. Definitely a solid "Summer of Arcade" promotion this year.

Well that doesn't sound promising.
I'm sure I'll get flames for this, but I find it far more interesting than the overrated Half-life.
