Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

It may be a little early to fully condemn the game. They say it's a new Quickplay+ mode. It stands to reason the other modes are still there. However, if they got rid of the improved career mode then, yeah, they're batshit crazy.

Really I don't even care. I'll play it long enough to get to the songs I want. I'm so completely uninvested in the GH franchise at this point that it's not like I'll actually be disappointed or anything. Oh..and RB3.

What if RB3 has the songs you want anyway? Will you even bother then?

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

That rumored set list is pretty bad. Why so many second tier songs from bands? If they're only going to have 1 song per artist then it should be their biggest single.

Wonder whom they consider their target audience with that trailer? "Pre-order today at whogivesas&^t.com"

Yeah. I'll definitely feel obligated to still play through it. If I got through Aerosmith and Metallica, (and soon to be RB Green Day)...I can handle it.

I do it for the people obviously. I'm kind of like Jesus Christ.

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

Hey guys, I just ordered a copy of this from Amazon’s Warehouse Deals ($9.49 and a couple more in stock if anyone is looking to pick one up cheap) but was wondering if it comes with a card or code like the other games to export the songs to the next game?

Didn't you already post this a day or 2 ago? I'm sure I've read this before.

And specifically which game are you talking about? This is a general thread for all things Guitar Hero, and your post doesn't say which game you bought.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about GH5...
And to answer the questions: Yes, the included manual has a unique ID code on the back of it, but it is unknown at this time whether or not it will actually be used to allow exporting forward of any tracks to the next GH game....

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

Yeah, I was talking about GH5, sorry for the confusion. It was an open copy, so I guess I'll wait and see if the code is still valid once it's activated. Thanks.

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

You can already export *some* of the GH5 tracks into Band Hero (and vice versa). So I'm sure at least those songs will be able to port to GH:WoR.

Wiki Page that shows what songs are exportable and which are not.

I haven't kept up, but those seem to be missing the touch-sensitive slider area.

You are absolutely correct. That gimmick is probably dead on GH:WoW.

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread

Thats neat that the guitars above are not 2 different guitars but one guitar with "wings" that you can pull off and change. The electronics are all inside the neck.

Gotta admit, that's a pretty sweet World Cup tie-in
