I hope that code's a winner, though.

It's a winner. I can feel it.

I may have jumped the gun earlier on the Dew sighting. I noticed them at the Wal-Mart gas station at lunch and thought I'd grab some (2/$2.22!). Much to my chagrin, they have the 1 in 8 wins label but not the Rock Band cap. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up.

Has anyone tried one of those bottles(with the 1 in 8 label) to see if they have codes?

*edit - and with those two I'm down to single digits(9) on my wish list, four of which aren't part of the promo.

Dew has had the 1/8 labels since like March. Way to go dick! :thmbsdwn:

Yeah, yeah... I was walking by and kinda in a hurry, saw the label and assumed. I hadn't seen them before. Suck it. :)

I did find this interesting though (via google search):

You can also find codes on 32oz and 44oz fountain cups.

That's ok...look at the bright side, you completely restored my utter lack of faith.

FYI: I picked up the RB 1 wireless guitar at my local Gamestop for $30 today. It isn't available online, but you can use the website to search for stock in your neighborhood.

Not sure if this is a permanent price or not. But they also had a ton of games marked down and the full Guitar Hero Band pack for $100. Not that I'd buy it...

Alright, the spirit of generosity in this thread has moved me. So, with a big assist from my local hospital, I'm giving away cap codes to the next three people who post in this thread and tell me the town or city they live in and their current local temperature (in honor of this being the first nice July day I can remember in Vegas).

btw, I'm still waiting on someone to take that free Green Day song I'm offering. My demands are simple... a pittance really.

But you required people to come up with reasons why the PS3 version of RB would have been a better choice.

My momma taught me not to lie. ;)

edit:

Ok i have three reasons (and a bonus):

1. You only own a Wii and a PS3 and want better DLC.
2. Smaller pool of players on DVDTalk means you will automatically get a higher rank in various matches due to sheer numbers.
3. There will be those delightful times when another Locksley Incident happens. That day will be a great day.
4. The temptation to delete Green Grass and High Tides is entirely too great. You will be a better person by keeping it on the HDD.

So it would be ok if someone other than the seller had used the codes?

I admire your creativity and you know I get all giddy when anyone mentions Locksley Day.

Now did you actually want the code or were you just humoring me? :)
