Didn't expect you to add a screenshot, but not surprised you only added the top 20%.

Well, now I know which songs to play in the near future. It's good to have goals!

Who's good on vocals? I want to compare scores.

XShagrath or kidjejicfhi (sp?) on the 360. JustSamDC too (IIRC).

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

I'd compare against Shagrath, since Kidj is a damn cheater.

There was also an attempt at a master list, but it sort of fell apart.

You should start it up again. I'm down to play some Rock Band with you guys.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Has there been any recent rumblings of the mysterious RB2 summer patch? I really want to let my daughter's day care have a Rock Band day with all my stuff, but I feel I need a wireless microphone. I don't need that many feet or that much wandering/jumping/dancing to risk a trip and/or console pull down.

That and all this talk of comparing scores really got me thinking about the stars update and having a new reason to play through everything I own again.

Michael Corvin 07-09-09 02:45 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Put those pretty little stars out of your head kid.

That was the gist of the latest info on it. I think it has fallen between Not happening any time soon and Not happening at all.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

So no Lips mic patch? Even though Microsoft is advertising it on their stand-alone wireless mics and Beatles supports them? Shirley that's still coming, right?

Michael Corvin 07-09-09 02:50 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Yeah, that might end up being a separate patch just for the mic.

pinata242 07-09-09 02:56 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

That's really all I need for the reason listed above. I just included the stars talk because of all the recent taunting.

You can always get a USB extension cable and add another 15' of wiggle room. That's usually good enough for the vocalist to have at least a little bit of mobility without fear of pulling down the console.

Like you though, I'm hoping that at least the Lips patch comes in around the time the stand-alone Lips mics release. I'm having a pretty large event in September, and would love to have wireless mics working.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

It's just 30 pair of 6-10 year old feet that I worry about more than anything.

I'd still need another wireless guitar anyway...

It is strange that we only have 13 songs in common though. ;)
