I've never heard the other songs. Must be "new"

Should have been their greatest hits. Hot Blooded, Cold as Ice, Double Vision, Head Games, Dirty White Boy.

Blue Morning Blue Day gets a ton of play on classic rock stations. For some reason, it isn't on any of their greatest hits comps that I've ever seen. It's a good song, though I would have preferred Double Vision. I've never heard of the third song.

I probably know it then. Just not by name.

It's right on the rockband.com front page, although I'm signed up for it and I don't get it very often. Definitely not every week.

Looks like we're on the same list. I just got this one but I can't recall the last one that I did.

No Long Long Way From Home makes me sad but I'm just happy to get the 3-pack. Journey next!

Long Way From Home would be a great choice, too. I loved when that song was used in the show Supernatural.

"Blue Morning..." and "Feels Like..." are awesome! I'll grab "Headknocker" to complete the pack, but it's a weird choice.

Heh, I just got it too. Although I looked through my e-mail and it looks like I've been getting them every two weeks, which is how often they're sent out it looks like, so I haven't missed any since I signed up. I must just glance at them and then forget them.

Great band, terrible song choice(s). Pretty typical...

So many great Foreigner songs, a band truly worthy of a 6 pack, and they pick Headknocker...

I love Thrice. I knew whatever ONE song they got wouldnt be good enough for me. I do likt their choice but I want more! Specifically some songs off their album "The Artist in the Ambulance".

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Would anyone be willing to let me borrow their Rock Band (first, not 2) for PS3 so I can import the tracks to Rock Band 2? I would pay for shipping both ways.

I just bought a new PS3 (I missed playing RB and with The Beatles comming...) along with RB2 and GHWT after selling my original PS3 last November. I was able to re-download all the songs I purchased, but when i went to Blockbuster to rent RB1, they didn't have it. My ebay ID is xenomorph24, if you want to check out if I am honest our not.

Or, if anyone knows a way to get RB1 for around $10, that would help to.

Another question, when I finally get ahold of RB1, do I have to unlock all the songs first before I transfer them to RB2?

Rock band for PS3 is on clearane for about $15 at Target if you can still find a copy.

No kidding. I'm definitely getting "Image of the Invisible," but I would really like to see more Thrice in this game, especially older stuff. If "Deadbolt" was available for download, my head would explode.

Gamefly offers a one-month subscription for $8.95 (one game out at a time) and the RB1 disc is often available, so that's one way of doing it. That's how I got the RB1 songs. And you don't have to unlock them. You just buy the download code and then they're downloaded from the disc onto the hard drive and they'll show up in your song list next time you pop in RB2.

Out of those three Foreigner songs I've only heard the obvious one.

Are the other two songs new or album tracks?

I went to 4 Target's near me. None of them had RB1, but one of them did have RB2 and FEAR 2 onclearance for $30 each. Picked up those 2 games and Star Wars force unleased during the buy 2 get 1 sale.

That might be a good idea to try out. Thanks.

"Blue Morning..." was a hit for them. "Headknocker" was on their debut album. So thankfully, all three are classic Lou Gramm-led Foreigner.

Edit: Sorry, not Fats Domino

It's fair to say that the "Smooth Criminal's" untimely passing has caused a "Shockwave" across the country. *cue twilight zone music*

Queued it up on youtube while I was driving and, yeah, I know this song. Only took about 3 notes before I said "ooooohhhh yeah!"

Do want.

Shit man, I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. RB2 is on clearance, they haven't had RB1 in ages.

If only we had actually gotten the MJ version of the song. AAF's version is decent and will suffice, but not in the same ballpark as the original.
