Also I decided after about 0.75 seconds that I don't want that Devil Wears Prada song ever.

Yeah, it looks like the base URL got omitted.

I just hit up http://www.youtube.com/Nalopean every week and make a quicklist from the recent additions and let them play through.

Actually.. It's the tinyurl filter causing the problems on the VBCode side.. I'll put it up via the regular post for now..

Well, the caps are finally available in my area!! Now, are the 6-packs gonna have them too, or only the single bottles? I'm not sure I can see paying $1.50 for a bottle to get a $2.00 song when 6 bottles would cost me $9.00, and a 6-pack is on sale for $2.75, plus I already have 201 DLC anyhow...hmmm.

They're all losers now anyway. ;)

Do you not have a Speedway, Thorntons or Circle K in the neighborhood? All three are running 2/$2.22 right now.

My Valero is running 2/$2 even.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

No, no, and no. Best I've found is $1.50 after tax

Unless you count $1.25 vending machines that you aren't guaranteed to get a cap.

Target is selling 6-packs for 24oz bottles w/o caps for $3. I so want to negotiate with a manager to get 6 20oz bottles (or 7 for 140 vs. 144 oz ;)) for $3, but it's fucking Target...

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Ok, but buying a 6 pack (at $3) is .50/bottle, and, let's say, $1.25/bottle buying singles.

12 bottles at .50 each=$6.00, 12 songs @ $2.00=$24...total for 12 sodas+12 songs=$30.

12 bottles at $1.25 each=$15.00, 12 songs @ $0.00...total=$15.00.

Wow, I guess it works out, lol, it doesn't seem like it should.

You're also bound to get a B1G1 which also lowers your average.

In my area I've only seen these caps on the single "impulse buy" already refrigerated units. I've spotted them at Target, Walmart and Walgreens so far.

So, Harmonix needs to scrap their delayed release of ABC from Unplugged. If they put that out this week it would give the free tracks a run for their money for most downloaded.

I officially have a problem.

I went to our local recycling center at lunch to empty our bins and as I approached the plastic bottle bin, a yellow beacon welcomed me. I looked at a cap attached to an empty bottle and after no hesitation, I twisted it off and took it. I looked quickly through the other remains, but nothing jumped out. Finished my business there and left.

It may not be a problem in need of an intervention as the code worked.

This is after this morning that I saw an unattended bottle at the front desk of my daughters' day care. No one was around so I unscrewed the cap and copied the code down on my iphone's notepad, replaced the cap, and left. It worked too :)

I'm all for it, especially if you want to nab the ones on the side of the road too. Added bonus helping the country look nicer, one bottle at a time.

I am shocked it even took you that long to realize that song is garbage through and through... It could have a solo that makes Blue Sky seem short and I still wouldnt buy it.

Don't expect a Michael Jackson track pack anytime soon. There's nothing in the works right now.

Man that Thrice song is a no-buy for me. I love it, but had forgotten what an incredibly boring song it would be to play.

If I was $400M in debt, even with the Beatles catalog (which is unfathomable to me), I would be doing everything I could to make money.

I thought his inclusion in GH:WT was a sure sign that stuff was going on.

And there very well could be with GH. This was a statement from MTV Games.

I was just listening to Thriller this morning and thought about how fun it would to play some of the songs on there. Especially Wanna Be Startin Somethin.
