I can't stress this point enough. I was having a tough time scratching using just my finger on the button, but once I figured out to use my thumb to move the table it made a world of a difference.

I just picked this game up today and after a few hours I can say that it's a lot of fun.

Yeah, I started using my thumb sort of on the "edge" of the platter and it does make the scratching easier. Back when I tried the demo kiosk, I relied on just the finger that was holding down the button, but after playing it at home for a while, I switched over to the "thumb method".

I just got this game today and having a blast. Something new instead of the drum, guitars, and mic.

5-starred every song on Expert except for Beats and Pieces. That's still a 3. Damn you 900/1000 gamerscore!

Don't believe so; David Guetta tracks on the 24th

Is anyone else left handed and having trouble playing the game? I tried playing the demo at Best Buy today and had a hard time. Maybe if I had the game and spent more time with it, I could get the hang of it.

The demo units are set up for right handed players....you can actually separate and flip the halves of the controller for left handed players so that the turntable is on the left side and the crossfader/effects knob section is on the right....

I'm a lefty, but I found it easier to play this game in the standard right-handed mode.

Any news of more dlc content coming for this? So far only one pack. I hope this game doesn't die an early death due to lack of content. I love it so far.

The game is already considered a massive failure.
Its being reduced and discounted all over the place.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about DLC long term for this since they are probably too busy working on DJH2.

Been 2 dlcs, the extended mixes and the David Guetta pack. Though I like Guetta, I enjoyed the extended mixes more.

I was curious about DLC content too. This is my first of this type of games, is there usually a schedule around this, how does one find/hear about it?

So far I've seen a total of 6 songs I believe.

Also, has anybody picked this up?

Looks like the first 3rd party stand for the unit. Looks pretty flimsy, so wanted to hear from others on it.

Sorry for such an old Bump...

Got this game last week when Toys R Us was selling it for $50. Now I am hooked. I want to pick up the Renegade version with the stand, because this game is awesome!

Cool deal! That $50 price point is sick. I've found it to be worth every penny of my original $120 purchase.

Yup, the game is a good one. Too bad it was too expensive and too different for people to try out. I still stand by my review for it. It was the best non-Beatles music game last year.

I also picked it up at TRU last week (and used the $10 coupon to get it for $40). I've put it in once, just to give it a try and make sure everything worked (box looked like it had been previously opened, but they didn't have any other copies), and I really had a lot of fun too. Ended up playing it a lot longer than I planned on. After I finish up with the other games I'm working on at the moment, I can see myself investing a lot of time into this one.

I got it at the TRU sale too. So I'm curious how everyone is using the turntable, Left or Right handed. After using the guitars for so long with my left hand pressing the buttons and right hand strumming, I've switched the turntable to Lefty so my left hand can continue to press the buttons. What about everyone else?

GH/RB I use my left hand for the buttons, but use my right hand for the turntable on DJ Hero.

And a tip - make use of your thumb on the turntable. You'll need it as you progress through the difficulty levels.

I enjoyed when I got it last December, but I haven't played it in months. I'll have to whip it out and play with it tonight, this thread has got me stimulated. Too bad the game flopped though, the one thing out of that house that was actually new, fun, and innovative, and of course it ended up being the victim of Activision's market oversaturation of mediocre product.

Eww. When you're done, you should check out DJ Hero.

I bought it for $40 last week as well, but haven't even opened the box. I should check it out, but havven't gotten around to it yet and setting up yet another peripheral seems like a daunting task to someone as lazy as me. I'm hiding it in the hall coat closet so the Mrs doesn't know I bought this yet. I'm trying to postpone her weekly "We're downing in crap"/"Quit wasting money" lecture for as long as possible.
