If you preordered from Amazon, they also sent a code for a Home costume. If you preordered from Gamestop, they gave you a code for some Gigawatt Blades. If you preordered from Best Buy in store, they gave you a code to download the inFamous demo early.
Do you know when they sent the code from Amazon for Home? I pre-ordered mine on 5/9 but I don't recall seeing the email.

I got it yesterday morning. It came from "[email protected]" and the title is "Your Pre-order Bonus for Ordering "Infamous" at Amazon.com"

I'll tell you what. Instead of a finder's fee, I'll just add you to the list of Warhawk "wrenchings" on Tuesday night. Now that's gratitude. Don't miss out.

Warhawk invades another thread! ftw!

So I'm at the first boss. Everything's going fine until the Fucking quicktime event! I'm not able to physically tap x quickly enough. I tried five times and i still cant keep up. Does anyone have a strategy to tapping the buttons quicker?

Re: inFAMOUS (PS3) Thread

I had trouble at the first boss as well. I was tapping the hell out of the x button and getting nothing. And then I realized that you have to aim the joystick toward the circle above her shoulder. Aim your blue circle or whatever towards her gold circle. That's when everything started working for me.

Re: inFAMOUS (PS3) Thread

I just beat it for the first time as an evil guy. Pretty good twist to the ending.

Overall, I liked the story. I thought it was good. Now I'm running around, picking up blast shards and doing the side missions. I'll put it up on eBay as a ten day auction and let it roll.

I had the same freaking problem. I had to hit up an online walkthrough. Once I figured out that I was supposed to be aiming for the circles, it's a breeze.

BTW : Who was that woman (Sasha) supposed to be before she went all Reaper? Cole was supposed to have known her, but I must have missed that detail.

Oh yeah, also on the bridge-opening mission, I got an evil label without doing anything to deserve it. I wonder why that happened...

I played quite a bit of this game today. Very repetitive. Game isn't bad and certainly gotten better but I'm tired of it. I'll play it tomorrow.

I used your strategy and beat the boss. Thanks for the tip!

On the second island and damn the difficulty level just went from easy to hard as hell. The new enemies take quite a few hits to take down. I might end up switching to easy. Still having lots of fun.

Glad to have helped!

And, yeah. I was a little shocked at how much the difficulty ramped up on the second island. Wonder how the third island's gonna treat us.

I'm playing as good and got the evil label as well. It's probably some sort of weird glitch.

Certain missions seem to be permanently good or evil no matter how you beat them.

Are you guys upgrading your powers? I found Infamous to be easy on Normal and not much harder on Hard. Unless you're trying to just melee all the enemies? You have some powerful medium range weapons and powers, so I don't understand the too hard vibe. One of my main issues with the game was how easy it was.

Re: inFAMOUS (PS3) Thread

Just finished the game as a Hero and immediately sold it. This one was way overrated. 7.5/10 at best IMO. The only thing that kept it from being lower than 7.0 was the controls which were really good.

Every time i get enough xp, i upgrade my powers. My main gripe with the difficulty is the constant spamming of enemies. Every single block i come across has enemies. I've died multiple times just in attempting to get to my next mission. That's where it gets frustratingly difficult and less fun.

I just started this tonight and have a dumb question.

I'm on the bridge very early in the game and just took out the guards. It's obvious that I have to charge the box on the left side in order to proceed and that's exactly what I did....for a long time. The box doesn't charge at all. I had no problems charging the boxes when you try to fire up the TVs in the beginning.

What am I missing here?

Are you charging it with l2 button or zapping it with the r1 button? I think you have to charge it with l2.

The bad guys are super snipers. They'll hit me when I'm climbing a building, jumping in the air. It's kinda silly that these guys are supposed to be drug addicts.

Yeah, but you should never be in danger of death. As soon as you take damage, just use of one of the almost endless sources of electricity to regain your health. The game gives you so many spots to recharge in most areas, its like infinite health at your fingertips. Its not even fair for the bad guys, with that much health around.

Did you get the engineer to follow you over to the bridge? You have to save him from some of the Dust Men and then he follows you to the bridge and you have to protect him while he works on the bridge.
