Hey thanks, Cruz. I've been slowing down lately because I needed to do some work on my fiction again but hopefully I'll have something new posted soon. I actually got the first thing I wrote for 30Hz picked up by a lit mag. So the bl-gging thing has actually proven useful to some extent.

Is anyone down for Warhawk this week? Still offering the opportunity for short 10-15 min crazy chaos maps and then a migration into Battlefield at around 10:00-10:15.

So actually I'm out tonight too.
Looks like we're going two more weeks without Warhawk. I'm out tonight and then I'm on vacation next week. But goddammit that second week in August we're Warhawking.

Didn't see anyone on so I hopped into BFBC2 instead. Should've checked the thread here, I guess.

Embedding is disabled on this video, so you'll have to click through, but Starhawk is getting clearer, and it's looking pretty fucking amazing:

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
They said in the video that there were "jeeps" and "light bikes", which I don't think we've seen yet, so we're not seeing a good picture yet of how ground combat will go down.
It also seems like they've made the Warhawk quite a bit less imposing in terms of air-to-ground. It seems like it's sort of air-to-air mode or when it's a mech it's sort of equivalent to the tank in Warhawk.
I will grant you that it departs more from Warhawk than I would have liked, but I think it has a lot of potential. I'm picturing you on a hillside dropping buildings on people.
