No worries there. We either populate the clan or not. Those that join get a silly trophy. Who knows if we'll ever get a clan match together. I think we all prefer Warhawk Tuesdays anyway!

I should be there early tonight. No Penguins hockey. No to-be parenting classes.

Chess, are the Collecting games only in the expansion? I happened to get into a Collecting game the other day and thought it was pretty fun... frenetic, but fun.

Excellent! Hoping for a good showing tonight.

I don't think I've played a "collecting" game. I've played a bit of zones and hero and lots of flag, but I'm not familiar.

Dont think I got one.

I dont think Ill make it tonight. Spurs game on but I may go out anyway, so we'll see

I tried a collecting game last week. It was weird but interesting. I rather have the flag or death match.

How late do you guys play usually? I am usually not available for game playing until 9 CST, but I would love to get back into playing this game with a consistent group.

PSN name is digawok, btw

What's your PSN? I'll double check when I get home. I just wrote them all down and started typing them in. The Clan area didn't seem to give me the option of just selecting known friends and associates.

7-10+ CST is the goal, but we've cut short the last few weeks.

Feel free to join...please remember that veterans are expected to take it easy.

Spurs are done.

Gotta admit that I like them more when I don't have to watch Genobli flop around.

Thanks. Had fun.

Rough night for me however in the world of Warhawk, though. Really rough.

Collecting is cool. I got the Collector Trophy on the last map we played.

Glad you had a good time...mostly. You were largely holding your own from what I could see.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Tonight was probably the most fun I've had on our games!

I dug the collector mode and will probably add a bit more of that next week...maybe alternate between CTF and collector. I'll also probably put the peninsula in the rotation again next week. I forgot how much fun that map is, especially in CTF. Thanks for the suggestions.

I mostly just played an air support role tonight, and probably the most fun I had was playing 2 on 3 with GFR and holding our own. We lost, but man was that a fun game!

I'd try to list everbody who came out tonight, but I'm sure I'd forget somebody. Suffice it to say, thanks to everybody for coming out.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Nonsense! You guys are on the early part of the learning curve, but you're coming along just fine. I'll bet each of you killed me 25+ times last night. Gotta protect my neck better.

...and I can't even remember how many times my warhawk was taken down by a tank...which there's just no excuse for.

The thing is, getting killed doesn't bother me much in this game...for some reason. I can usually appreciate the skill involved in taking me down, and the only time it feels cheap is when I'm outnumbered. Plus there's a bit of a "cartoonish" feel to the game. Usually, I just think it's funny when I die.

I kept trying to take you down with grenades. I'm convinced it's going to happen. But I did have a couple of those tank takedowns. Very satisfying.

But yeah, getting blow'd up is rarely ever frustrating. The only time I get frustrated is on the public rookie games when there's obviously a warhawk pilot that's well beyond rookie skill level. In our games, its really all just fun.

Big night for me last night when I made top player a couple of times. That's never happened before!

Funniest moments for me last night:

"Be vewy vewy quiet...I'm hunting ewok"
"Somebody take out flipperbaby!"..."I'm on it...give me...uhhh...8 seconds."

Cool. I'm actually happy for folks when they pull it off.

Yes, those guys ruin a lot of games. They'll build new PSN accounts just to take advantage of new players. Weak sauce.

Congrats! I only had top player once or twice last night...mostly because I wasn't doing a lot of flag capturing and was clueless on collecting cores.

The first Collecting round was pretty funny. It seemed like the guys that understood the game were all on the same time. It was 11-2 after the first couple minutes. lol. I think you came back to take the lead there before we snuck up and finished it off finally. I've really got to get my bluetooth hooked up. That's the thing about those bluetooth earpieces - I can never goddamn find them.

I don't know about anybody else, but I only understand about 2 people when they're talking. The rest sound like vibrating noise.

I got a trophy last night and didn't know what it was until this morning:

Hit List: Kill every member of the opposing team at least once during a round.

Sweet

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I think every Wednesday morning we should recount our trophies and accomplishments, like veterans reliving their past glories.

I picked up the Hat Trick: Get three flag captures in a single round of CTF.

I also thought I'd get that Sniping trophy but I guess our bases weren't far enough apart in that capture the flag game.
