Yes, if you can find it in stock. Not valid for the band bundles. And technically it's $14.99 + whatever tax is on the non-coupon price. For most states, that's around $22

What is anoying to me now is that the bundles aren't even showing up as OOS online, so you can't check stock at a store. I am not looking forward to driving around.

Thanks for the info. Got mine for $20.83 after tax. My store had 3 360 bundles left.

Goldeneye for the Wii and Bloodstone 007 for the 360 and PS3 are on sale for $9.99 each "New" at Game Stop. They seem to have a different opinion on what a new game is than I do, but for that price, I picked up a PS3 copy of Bloodstone today. Bizarre Creations

Keep in mind that Goldeneye is coming out in a remastered, HD version for 360 and PS3 later this year.

Price matched at Best Buy no problem. Nice discount from their $49.99 price. Makes me feel like its an even better deal.

Already have Goldeneye, I love that game too, although I've stopped playing the campaign and just do multiplayer when I'm on it....only reason I turn on the Wii unless I'm bowling or frisbee with my daughter.

At Walmarts bargain bin they had Heavenly Sword for $15. For some reason that game stayed in the full price range for years. YMMV

I've waited YEARS for Heavenly Sword to drop that low (beat it on a rental). Probably my favorite retail title on the system. Now it's the right price and my PS3 died a few months ago.

K Mart has some deals going on this week like Alan Wake for $9.99 and Duke Nukem Forever for $29.99. The full list is over at CAG.

Apparently Target has PSPGo's on clearance for $70. Seems a bit YMMV. At this price, I would highly recomend one.

Yesterday I stopped in a BB that had Borderlands GOTY in stock but it was marked at $39.99. Took it up front and had them price match the website. Used up the remaining balance on a gift card and I was out of there with the GOTY for a cool $2.27.

I've already had the hardcover strategy guide for months, and now I've finally got the game. Now all I need is a new 360 to play it on.

Consider yourself real lucky to have been able to price match in store. If the price was checked with a 'supervisor', they will indicate that they would not match an item if it is an 'outlet center' item even in their website.

my local Bestbuy will make you order an online item while you are in the store and pick it up at the front...they make it easy, but still would be easier for them to just change the price...

True, you can do that. But keep in mind that an inventory in stores are not all considered 'outlet items'. During the Borderlands GOTY sale, for instance, you will find that inventory stock is available in store, but when you try and order it online, it does not show as available. Only the 'none outlet items' are available, and it makes for a frustrating experience as they will not let you purchase the item at sale price.

Looks like Newegg is doing the Halo Anniversary preorder again for $29.99. This time the code is EMCKBHG94. Has anyone preordered from Newegg before? How are they with cancelations if a better deal comes up?

More than just Halo CE Anniversary. Here's the list :

edit - discount codes for $12 pre-orders below after game listing.
Codes valid until 11:59 PT on 8/23/11 only

Saints Row The Third

Xbox - EMCKBHG88

PS3 - EMCKBHG89

Assassins Creed: Revelations

Xbox - EMCKBHG92

PS3 - EMCKBHG93

Batman Arkham City

Xbox - EMCKBHG95

PS3 - EMCKBHG96

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary
- EMCKBHG94

I've pre-ordered from them before. I get the games about 2-3 days after release. You can cancel pretty easily from the "My Account" section, assuming the item has not yet shipped and isn't "shipping soon".

Batman AC comes with a pretty cool looking shirt with preorder.
Spoiler:

A nice option if you don't care about the exclusive (for now) pre-order skins others are carrying for the game.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Awesome, thanks Decker. If it's that easy to cancel I'm going to throw a pre order in just in case Amazon and/or K Mart doesn't do anything better.

It's actually easier than Amazon : There's a section of My Account below Order History that's called "Pre-Order Status". Click on that link and you can see all your pre-orders and there's a button right there on each order's link to Cancel. It's a great system, actually.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

FYI, the other codes are for $12 off each game, just in case anyone was confused by Decker's post, like I was. I'm tempted for Batman and Saints Row, but 47.99 is still too much for me for a mostly single player experience (I know SR will have multi, but I can't see myself playing it that much) when I have such a huge backlog. By the time I get to them, they will be cheaper.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Damn if Saint's Row was $30 I would have definitely bit. I'm going to wait to see what preorder bonuses Amazon has for that game. I will be getting that on release.

Nice. Do you know if you're billed at the time it ships, like amazon, or now?

which is against their own policy. BB is supposed to match any price on their own website. there was an article on consumerist.com not too long ago about it. BB corporate came out and flat out said all stores should match their website.

Hopefully they charge it once the order ships. If not, I guess they just issue a refund if you cancel. I did place an order last night, so I’ll find out soon enough.
