The only bad thing I have to say about the headset is that you can't hear yourself talk and thus have no idea how loud you are. I've now taken to playing with one hear piece half off so that I don't wake my wife up while playing. The noise cancelling is pretty excellent. My kids practically have to yell or walk in front of me to get my attention. The wife will throw something at me if she has to.

I got my headset and Uncharted 3 yesterday. I am really pleased with the headset and I will see tonight if it works while watching BDs.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

In regards to the Kmart coupons, since they are tied to your Kmart account. So say you bought 2 games, and got the $15 and $35 coupons then the following week you used the coupons on say Halo and a 1600 point card for example. IF you were to return 1 of the original games for a refund after the fact of using the coupons do they subtract out the coupons from your refund.

I bring it up since for example at TRU you are able to pre-order for example CAR 2 for $5 and receive $10 off a movie at the time you reserved a copy. However at any time after this you can return reserve and receive $5 back with no penalty of the $10 you saved on the other movie. Make sense?
Just wondering as I am new with Kmart's deals as of Gears 3. thx

I believe they tied it to the Kmart account to prevent this kind of abuse (not saying you're an abuser, but people were returning games and keeping coupons).

Bought a ps3 from target a couple days ago, and I see they are giving $50 gift cards in the ads this week. If I bring my receipt in on Sunday do you think they'll give me one or am I assed out?

It's returnable for 90 days, so I can't see why they wouldn't allow you to return and rebuy.

Best Buy (.com) Deals
Shamelessly stolen from CAG :

Gunstringer
Rise of Nightmares
Hulk Hogans Main Event
All are $30, except Gunstringer, which is $20. Free shipping too apparently.
:360: Free $100 Gift Card with Xbox 360 Console with Kinect

:360: Save $8–$10 on Select Pre-owned Xbox 360 Games

Deals good today and tomorrow only, apparently.

I bought a Gunstringer for In-Store Pick up. Already back-ordered online. I thought Gunstringer was kind of a rip-off at $40, but at half that, it's an immediate purchase.

Plus it still has a code for Fruit Ninja packed in, right? If so, I may have to get it.

Yes, it does. Of course I don't need it (if I did, I probably would already own the game), but I have a friend who could use my copy so that's a nice little bonus as well.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Over on CAG, Josh announced that the week of Nov. 15 is going to see a Buy-1-Get-1-Half-Off promo for Assassin's Creed, Saints Row, Need for Speed and Rayman. Nice way to wrap up the coupon train for those sitting on the $30 Batman coupon. Those people can get either 2 games in two weeks for $60 out of pocket, or 2 games next week and 2 games in two weeks for $130 out of pocket.

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Saint's Row 3
Halo Anniversary
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Rayman Origins
Need For Speed: The Run

Skyrim and Saints Row 3 for me.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Next week is the 'Buy 110, get $50 in coupons'. So buy two games for 120,g et $50 in coupons next week. The week after, buy 2 games for 60 + 30 = 90 dollars, but use the $50 in coupons from the sale and the $30 Batman coupon for $10 out of pocket. So four games for 130.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Ah, got it. Thanks, great deals. Think I'll pass since I have MW3 Hardened pre-ordered (as well as a New Egg deal on Halo Anniversary), am leaning towards SR3 on Steam, am unlikely to play Skyrim any time soon and still haven't played the last two AC games at all.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I have the $30 Batman coupon, but I only want AC:R out of that list. Hoping it hits $39.99 for BF like AC:B did last year.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I know that Batman coupon is good until the first weekend in December, so you should be good if they do. Ubisoft sure loves dropping their prices like a stone.

I think I'll use my Batman AC coupon for Mario 3D or whatever that game for the 3DS is going to be called.

Thanks for the reminder! Picked it up just now. As always the game rang up original price and the cashier had no idea it was on sale. Had to get a manager to override the price.

They also had Splatter house for the 360 $25 $30 for ps3
