Found an old Halo 3: ODST-branded 12 month card for $49.99 at my BB today. So another year of Live for $30--not bad.

Apparently some BBs still have the older $49.99 cards with codes for Joust on XBLA, too, but I didn't see any at the store I went to. In fact, the Halo ODST card I got was the last $49 card they had, AFAIK--all the others were the newer $59 cards.

Gamestop is running a special giving you an additional 50% trade in value on used games. Not a bad time to turn in some older titles to pickup a few extra bucks.

Picked up Heavy Rain for $29.99 at Walmart.

Ran in Blockbuster while out running errands yesterday, and I noticed that they've lowered the price on several used games. Picked up Nier (360) and Dante's Inferno: Divine Edition (PS3) for $9.99 a pop.

Guess I'm safe now. You sold yours already? Bummer, I'd have liked to play against you.

I got the last copy at the local GS, which of course means that it's the "new" copy that's been opened, played and beaten by discostu already. I hate that GS crap they always pull. Might try to get a BB PM instead and return this copy. But it might not be with that hassle just for the principle of the thing.

No, I didn't sell it. I returned the GS copy that was just to tide me over until the Amazon copy was delivered by UPS after Blizzard 2011 v2.0. Which was a good decision since it took like 9 days for my Prime delivery to happen.

Just picked up a copy for the 360. I didn't want to pay $60 for it, but at $40, I can beat it and sell it back to recoup most of the price.

I know Sams Club is a big YMMV but I picked up Split Second (360) for $14.01 and had Medal of Honor (360 & PS3) for $18.xx on clearance as well.

I also got a copy for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't even unwrapped it yet. If you guys want to get together and play one night, I'm up for it.
