I like DC better than NFS Rivals. It looks miles better, but yes, it is more of a Sim racer -- not so much in handling, but NFS is kind of open-world cops vs racers and DC is online and offline circuit races. Very different sort of games.

Such a shame they never gave us the PS Plus version of DC because if they had you could pretty easily tell if it's for you or not. If you have a Redbox nearby, you might want to give it a quick rent to try it out...

I had games to trade in so I figured it'd be easier to do it all in one stop - make the trade then get the games off the shelf myself.

On the bright side, I feel like i got more for my trades at Best Buy than I would've at GS. $50+ for Lords of the Fallen and Sunset Overdrive isn't too shabby, IMO.

Some fresh deals at Amazon. Wolfenstein and The Lego Movie Videogame for PS4 are $15 each.

Wolfenstein is a great game, and that's a great price for it. Not to be missed by anyone who enjoys FPS.

Shit they changed their mind on that sale double fast. It's $38 for Wolfenstein now

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is today's Amazon gold box deal at $24.99.

Question:

Will Best Buy price match a video game and also be eligible to use GCU? I just bought the Spider-Man Disney Infinity set last night at $34.99 (minus GCU 20%). Amazon now has it for $24.99 as does GameStop. I don't want to run back over there unless I know they will price match that price and still give me the 20% GCU discount. Anyone know? Thanks.

Edit: Shit. Too late. Looks like Amazon sold out and Gamestop is $29.99. Not worth driving over there for $5. Meh.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

@def it is either or, not both. Either get the PM or use GCU. Can't double dip.

For anyone still wanting the digital games from the Xbox One AC Bundle (AC Black Flag and AC Unity for the Xbox One), here's a link for a place selling both codes for $27. Email delivery is instant, apparently

I have the first two on steam... should I bother with number three?

Crysis 3 is decent, but not near as good as 2. Hard to argue about $6.

Apparently you can get a PS4, game & PSN card for around $320 at Target with a Cartwheel coupon and with a Red Card discount.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Target Cartwheel has 15 percent off all ps4s.

Never got around to playing 3 since the reviews were so-so. But for $6 I'll give it a shot.

3 is a beautiful tech demo, game wise it's so-so.

Assassin's Creed Unity is $30 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Amazon.com today.

The bow in Crysis 3 is damn fun though. I hardly used any other weapon.

They have Destiny on all platforms for $40 as well, I think that's a decent deal?

So is Assassins Creed Unity worth $30 even with the glitches?

Most of those are gone now. They're promising one more patch that should improve framerate and then it'll be like a finished product.

It also sounds like a lot of previously planned paid DLC will now be free.
