Actually Wal Mart might be the best place to pick up an XB1 on BF:
Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle + $30 Gift Card - $329 That't the bundle MS should have released in the first place |

How long does the cell SIM-kit/GCU deal last at Best Buy? Or is it already over?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Well if anybody wants the Xbox One version of arguably the finest, most glitch-free version of Assassin's Creed yet, GameDealDaily has the Download version of Unity for $39 still.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
2 questions regarding my best buy points. All my phurcases are still " pending". When do they actually post?
Also, how long does it take for the pre order bonus to show up? I picked up my eligible game and nothing so far. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I don't know the exact time period but it does take a week or two for the points and bonus points to be added. I think it happens after the return period is over.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
It's no amazing deal, but since it looks like there won't be any BF deals on game currency cards, I thought I should mention that Target is once again having their "Buy One, Save 25% on One" deal on all gaming cards this week. This seems to be the only way to save money on PSN or WiiU currency. Basically, if you buy two $20 cards, you'd get $40 in credit for $35 spent. You can save another 5% with the Red Card if you have one.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
This isn't a deal or anything, but I didn't know where else to post this.
People have been scamming Walmart getting PS4's for $90. http://www.cnbc.com/id/102197050?__s...doc=102197050#. Customers have misused Wal-Mart's price-match promotion to obtain $400 PlayStation 4 consoles for less than a quarter of the retail price using third-party sellers on Amazon. The company announced on Nov. 13 that it would price-match select online retailers, including Amazon.com. However, any Amazon member with a registered selling account can create authentic–looking pages and list items "for sale" online. Consumers need only take a screen capture of the page and show it to a cashier at checkout in order to request the price match. Wal-Mart's online price match policy states, "We're committed to providing low prices every day, on everything. So if you find a current lower online price from an online retailer on an identical, in-stock product, tell us and we'll match it." Few employees appear to have verified the legitimacy of these online deals as many customers were able to purchase gaming systems for $90. The scam seems to have been initiated after Sears accidentally listed several Nintendo consoles on its site for $60, according to Consumerist, a consumer advocacy site. Members of Twitter and Reddit communities have posted pictures of receipts documenting that Wal-Mart had accepted these fake Amazon listings. |

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Bunch of fucking assholes are going to ruin a solid feature for everybody.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
It would be nice to see Walmart use those receipts to identify those people and at least put them on their no trespass list. I don't see how this isn't some type of wire fraud.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
It's tough to do, as it stands they probably lost a couple thousand dollars. Conversely, there is nothing legally binding about other advertisements, the store is supposed to verify the deal is real before allowing it -- like when they used to call the other store to verify. They're scum bags and this is theft, but it'd never hold up.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Is there a latin phrase for "Let the Seller Beware"?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
My Best Buy always verifies price matches with Amazon as being shipped and sold by Amazon as well as in stock.
