Damn, I really wanted A Boy and his Blob. I've found that if you wait for just a few months Wii games are easy to get for $20 or below. That's especially true for the actual good Wii games (Boom Blox, da Blob, Okami, Geometry Wars) since most people instead opt to buy crap for $14 at Kohl's.

Bummer that I missed that as it was on my list. Hopefully it'll drop down again...then maybe I can complete my collection of killer 2-d revival nintendo games.

Not sure if it's still going on but you can (could?) get Excitebots for $5 at BestBuy with a Gamer Reward Zone $10 coupon.

Yep they had Reward Zone coupons that would net you Riddick ($20 off current price of $29.99) for $9.99 (for 360 & PS3 I believe) and Pikmin (Wii $10 off current price $14.99)for $4.99. Picked them up the other night.

Its been $15 or better at various Targets when they've had them on clearance for quite some time.

I got a free copy of Transformers for 360 with the last set of Reward Zone coupons but that was pretty YMMV as the game was on sale for $19.99 and they had a $20 off coupon. The coupons state only good on regular non sale prices though so it had to be overridden by the cashier/manager to get it to work. In my case, it did. Many others didn't.

I already had the L&D DLC but went ahead and snagged the disc anyway. Gay Tony has been on my want list and I figured it will be easier to sell the disc to Gamestop when I'm done than to sell the DLC back to Microsoft.

Thanks for the heads up on these deals....I printed off both coupons this morning and snagged both Riddick (PS3) and Pikimin (Wii) for $15 total...since Riddick has both the new game AND the original on it (which I have never played), it's like getting three whole games for only $5 apiece!

Not that I'm complaining, but what's with the $15-$20 price drops within 1-2 weeks of a game's release?

Not that long ago it would be months before we saw a discount at all.

I've noticed a kind of pattern that if a title doesn't sell well it immediately drops $20 bucks or so. I'm guessing Darksiders didn't meet sales expectations and they need to try and move some inventory.

This has been going on for a while, hasn't it? It picks up especially near Xmas, but it seems like sales happen really quickly (check Tekken 6, for example). I don't think I'll ever buy an Ubisoft game at launch ever again.

I learned my lesson last year with Prince of Persia.

It's a good point, but I don't know if I can wait on Splinter Cell when that game finally sees the light of day.
