Apparently NCAA 12 is available at best buy today for 9.99.. how much longer will they support the online play for this game? Until 13 comes out?

Game Stop is selling the Move-required game Sorcery today only for $19.99, $10 off its recently-dropped price and half what it originally cost a couple of months ago. I picked up a copy today.

pretty sure support carries over a generation. NCAA 11 should shut off when 13 comes out. as I understand it. but you'd have better luck asking cruzness in the Dynasty thread. he's the NCAA guru.

Think I'm actually going to pick up some older stuff this time around. Been meaning to pick up Hitman Blood Money and Metro 2033. Now I just need to find one more to go with it.

Hitman Blood Money is not an easy title to find at a reasonable price. It might be only $20 used on Gamestop but finding a complete copy might be difficult. I'm still torn on Metro 2033..great concept, but I've watched gameplay videos and I'm just not sure.

Apparently Best Buy will have a Deal of the Day on 7/3 for Ratchet & Clank All 4 One (which is a not-so-great, free game for PS+ members, but a deal at that price for non-members), and will have the poorly-reviewed Ninja Gaiden 3 for $19.99 on 7/6.

Also, while not a game, some might be interested in one of this month's discount Kindle e-books :Fun Inc.: Why Gaming Will Dominate the Twenty-First Century by Tom Chatfield for $2.99. I haven't read it, but apparently it's a detailed look at the history and future of the video gaming industry. Reviews have been pretty darn good. For that price, I figured it was worth picking up, even if he covers ground we all already know.

Isn't All 4 One a strict co-op affair?

Not exactly. You can play it solo as Ratchet with AI controlling Clank, but it's not really worth experiencing in that regard. For one thing, it has a fixed camera to enable easy multiplayer, so that means you can't really aim with weapons. That makes for unsatisfying solo play, in my opinion.
It's actually a fun local co-op game and can be fun online, but that's pretty hit-or-miss. I imagine it's better online since it went free to PS Plus, but I haven't checked since that happened. It comes with a one-time use online code, BTW (which is not needed for the downloadable version).

Anyone who doesn't already own KoA should absolutely pick it up at that price. It's a really fun game (if too easy); it has a ton of gameplay. I'm waiting for a sale on TW13 and/or SF vs Tekken. I hope to get those both under $20 sometime in the next month.
