Yeah, with those controls I'm not interested in MP. I mean, the controls are fine for SP, but I just can't see enjoying them in MP.

Alright, I just finished Uncharted 1 the other night and can ANYONE here name a better/prettier game?

This game was fucking amazing and fun as shit. Its the first game I would call 'sexy' I loved it. Everything, even length was perfect and I was glued to the screen. If I had one complaint it would be the inability to go around objects while in the cover position, but thats minor. I would have gladly paid $60 for this baby, but I like that I got it new for $20 U2 might be a release day buy for me!

Question for those who beat the first. If I start a new game with a harder difficulty, will I still keep my rewards from the first go through and just build upon them? I only earned 600 pts out of the 1000 and want everything unlocked. Or do I have to earn the whole 1000 on one go through?

I think you keep all the rewards you have earned and can pick up whatever you missed.

Uncharted 2 popped up in my Amazon Gold Box yesterday. I preordered it with the ECA discount for $48.44. I can't wait for this game!

Gotta say : One studio comes up with the IPs of Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted. Naughty Dog is as underrated as Rare is overrated.

Wow. I want to play this game now. However, I'll gladly wait if it means they'll be able to make the rest of the game just as awesome if not better.

So... I just received an email from PSN to get access to the Uncharted 2 MP beta.

I already have one from preordering inFamous so I may be giving one away tomorrow. I have to check first that one works for me.

UPDATE - Wow, my download just finished. Total time was 21 minutes. Not bad.

I've got mine downloading right now. And that gameplay demo looks incredible.

Played about a dozen rounds, mostly Team Deathmatch. Here's my initial impressions.

Collision detection needs some more work. I ran into someone else, and we got stuck to each other.

The 3rd person camera also needs some work. Sometimes if you're near or inside a building, the wall or roof will completely block your view. That got me killed a few times.

And I'm not crazy about the cover mechanics. Missed a few kills because I couldn't aim over/around the cover. And a few times, getting loose from the cover required some extra effort.

These are things that can (and probably will) be fixed. The main thing that turned me off was the gameplay.

It's one of those games where everyone starts out with an average weapon. There's tons of weapons, nades and ammo lying around. So everyone runs and grabs a better weapon. There also appears to be a few really cool guns. So I imagine every game will start off as a sprint for the good stuff.

You get two "boosters" (aka Perks) to customize your character. These are stuff like Carry More Ammo or Better Aim. Right now it seems pretty limited. They'll probably add more as you level up. But I'm on Level 6, and nothing's changed yet.

You can also pick your character (Drake, Elena, etc.) But it seems to be just different skins. I didn't notice any difference in their abilities or weapons layouts.

Right now I don't see anything here that'll drag me away from COD. The MP was ok, but unless there are some big changes, it won't be a major selling point for me. (I'll be buying the game for the single player campaign).

Damn I should have downloaded before I left for work - now the servers will probably be getting hammered tonight.
