Thanks...that's the circa 1973 Gene, lol. I haven't seen any other Kiss characters yet, and I have Peter in the works. I don't drum that much, and he's my least favorite member, so naturally he's last. I really get wrapped up in that stuff, I think Gene and Ace's faces are around 35 layers each.

Well, you can always do a tribute to Eric Carr. :)

When the game first came out someone on CAG did Peter Criss and I was looking forward to seeing the rest of the band. Never happened.

Curious Soundgarden picks, but I am getting those and The Killers for sure.

No thanks on LoG, but good to see another old GH track get updated.

Just graduated full time to expert but the Yngwie songs may be too difficult for me. Looking forward to those videos.

I'd love Fell On Black Days from Soundgarden, I just heard that today & thought it would be a good pick.

I think they have a bunch. To me they are band that many people don't realize how good they were until you really sit down and see how many great songs they had in a short time.

I wouldn't have picked JC Pose but I am just glad they are getting some DLC because Spoonman is a horrible representation of Soundgarden's awesomeness.

Maybe, but it is hella fun on every instrument.

I agree, but it is the song most associated with the band and it is such a cliche, goofy song compared to the rest of their catalogue.

I like Yngwie! Sadly, it's not the overly gay Heaven Tonight offered. :(

I would have liked to have seen something from his first two albums. I am a Viking would have been good.

I'm still relatively new to the Strat (I have the RB2 version) and have a question. I played some last night and the strum is no longer 'spongy.' It's still seemed plenty responsive, but now it's almost as 'clicky' as the Les Paul. Is this a sign my guitar is going out or is it fine and now I have to live with the clicking? Should I just RMA it anyway?

Didn't I post that information yesterday?

pinata242 11-21-08 11:31 AM

You know, it's really kinda lame they couldn't throw 1 more Soundgarden song in there to make it a 3-pack.

pinata242 11-21-08 11:32 AM

Oh for fuck's sake, Shag, that's the official announcement and you know it.

You didn't have a source.

UncleGramps 11-21-08 11:51 AM

I'm hoping for some YouTubes since I don't know any of these by their names alone.

REL77 11-21-08 11:55 AM

Does anyone else thing the Malmsteen songs are going to be the new hardest songs int he game... Caprici Di Diablo is a 4.5 minute instrumental that is just 100% solo material...

I am calling it now, new hardest songs in the game..

No help?

I'm finally moved on from the challenges to the tour, which manager/pr person is best for fans/money?

aktick 11-21-08 12:02 PM

Just gave them all a listen, I'll get the Killers pack and Pretty Noose for sure. The Malmsteen stuff will probably be too hard to be fun for me.

Yeah, just listened the the Malmsteen too, and it's not quite my bag. And seeing as my guitar skills are medium with like 3 songs of hard - this would be a waste as it looks engineered for the expert players. I'll be happy with Soundgarden :)

I predict Malmsteen being in RB is the answer to Dragonforce being in GH (Just ass hard music).... I know I cant pass his songs in Expert, but i am excited to see the note charts for those songs to see how Harmonix handles it..

pinata242 11-21-08 12:27 PM

487 + 9 = 496 songs on the platform (or 493 if you only consider RB2).

Either way, we'll hit #500 with the next announcement. I wonder if HMX will specify which track they consider the milestone.

discostu1337 11-21-08 12:27 PM

Finally we get Mr. Brightside.... I've been saying for years how fun that would be to play on guitar.

bunkaroo 11-21-08 12:28 PM

I've never heard of any of those Yngwie songs. Too bad we couldn't get some of his classic 80's stuff.

Definitely will get Soundgarden. Not sure on Killers - have to hears the tunes.
