It's still seemed plenty responsive, but now it's almost as 'clicky' as the Les Paul. Is this a sign my guitar is going out or is it fine and now I have to live with the clicking? Should I just RMA it anyway?

I think you're fine. When the Strat starts missing notes is when you should be worried.

I've never heard of any of those Yngwie songs. Too bad we couldn't get some of his classic 80's stuff.

Me neither and I couldn't get playlist to pull them up either.

Here are the other tunes:

487 + 9 = 496 songs on the platform (or 493 if you only consider RB2).

Either way, we'll hit #500 with the next announcement. I wonder if HMX will specify which track they consider the milestone.

Can you say a 3pack next week, and a 4th song, being the 500th, as a Freebie????

I smell Brooks & Dunn 3 pack with a bonus Dixie Chicks tune!

pinata242 11-21-08 12:59 PM

It really is one of those times that I don't want an album announced with track #4 is the magic one. I want pomp and circumstance!

aktick 11-21-08 01:20 PM

#500 will be some crappy Harmonix band...

jdpatri 11-21-08 01:30 PM

Harmonix could have announced the Miley Cyrus along with those Killers tracks and I would have been happy with the week. But Yngwie and the Killers?! Nice.

Even if I don't get the Yngwie tracks because I know I couldn't pass them (and I play 90% drums anyway - does the dude have a drummer?), I'm excited to see Rabbit in action. He is obligated to play us some Yngwie.

Kijdhefgi 11-21-08 01:33 PM

500 and beyond better be the Opeth Discography!

Oh for fuck's sake, Shag, that's the official announcement and you know it.

I know that. But anyone who would read the fucking posts would see that the information was already available. It's a huge peeve of mine when people reply to a thread before reading it all (yes, I know I have done this in the past, and I get pissed at myself as well).

I had screenshots of all of it as well. It was showing up in the RB1 music store.

This is a weird argument. Why are you bemoaning someone confirming a rumor to be true with the official announcement?

pinata242 11-21-08 01:47 PM

But we've seen screeshots in the past for things that weren't announced.

We've seen leaks of things that weren't announced.

But, we've also seen announcements that didn't actually happen.

News is news, whether in rumor or announcement form.

Back on, I proclaim I've got the 500th figured out.
Spoiler:

UncleGramps 11-21-08 01:47 PM

But it's never official until HMX posts it in their forums. There was at least one case where there was even an ad on the Xbox Marketplace for Offspring songs, and they ended up pushing those back a few weeks.

What would be wrong with Miley Cyrus?

Shagrath 11-21-08 01:52 PM

I don't know if Miley Cyrus is coming, but I have a feeling something much worse* will be!

pinata242 11-21-08 01:54 PM

Oh? Do tell!

All that stuff goes a long way in my house.

Shagrath 11-21-08 01:55 PM

You know that I can't say anything direct. I have to be vague and secretive.

You don't know if I'm telling the truth or not, so I'll leave it up to you to call bullshit on me.

Poor rabbit red-ringed last night.

pinata242 11-21-08 01:57 PM

Well, that's fine. Nothing would surprise me anyway as far as what is in the works.

I do hope they start branching out into the pop world a bit more.

It's an enigma wrapped in a riddle. The answer is:

Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus.

And that's why you shouldn't bitch when someone else posts an official announcement even though you posted the same information. Photos these days aren't the best proof of things thanks to photoshop.
