I have DLC i have yet to play. I snagged the No Doubt pack, played a few songs, then had something else i needed to do. I have yet to go back and finish out that pack.

PS3 RB2 question:

For the first time ever last night I was playing and noticed the note stream became really choppy when there was a graphics intensive display behind the chart or if I was in overdrive

anyone have this problem? I haven't tried rebooting yet since I haven't had a chance to (someone came over while I was playing).

That's weird Scorcho, just the other day I had something similar happen in GH:WT (360). The song got choppy, sounded like a record scratching/repeating, then all the notes were out of whack. The notes ended before the song was over. The singer was still singing and the game cut him off.

Anyone order any merch yet?

I got my band t-shirt in the mail last week, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Is that all it is? It doesn't look that bad...

Well, I can't imagine how many different silk screens they'd have to make. As long as it isn't glossy looking and that it stretches with the material. There are some really nice iron ons that are really hard to tell apart from silk screened designs.

As soon as I buy a song, I play it on guitar/bass/vocals and log my scores. I don't see how any real fan of the game can not have played at least all 84 songs from the disc.

Fuck, even GatorDeb has done that! :)

Anyone else delete DLC?

As a sole guitar player, I deleted The Sounds Song Mission one (before Npaean, and still not sure how that song got packed with Jared Leto), Snow (just not fun to me on expert), and Tempted (a great reminder to watch the videos even on songs I like).

I've been tempted to delete Snow but haven't deleted any DLC as of yet...

The only DLC I've deleted are the RUSH covers of Limelight and Working Man (of course they were replaced by master tracks.)

That's good to know. :)

I'm not the greatest player in the world, but at least I play what I buy. It makes no sense to buy something you're not gonna play. I mean, Livin' at the Corner of Dude & Catastrophe has been out for months. I just can't fathom buying a song and not playing it for that long. This coming from a guy who has shittons of unwatched DVDs (some for years). But Rock Band takes too much of my time. :)

Yeah, forgot I did those. I felt those were definitely worth the upgrade.

Impressive you only deleted that. I don't consider RB1 DLC, but I deleted about 10 songs. I just decided yesterday I had reached my fill of Electric Version.

I didn't delete anything off my RB1 export.

Just yesterday, I did the Electric set:

Hellion/The Electric Eye
Electric Crown
Electric Version

How could I do that if I deleted Electric Version? You people perplex me!

Just not a fun song. I think I have about 300 songs, but I like to think they are streamlined so I can enjoy any song that comes up (except for Visions and a few RB2 songs I can't delete).

I think Electric Version is pretty decent on vocals. Guitar is kind of a weird strum pattern that I can't really get the hang of, and well, I suck at drums.

See, you guys are more bigtime than me. I never do vocals, gave up on drums, and only do expert guitar. And you are right, the strum pattern just never felt natural or fun on that song. I can see how the vocals would be much better.

Anyone have the RHCP album? I want it for Under The Bridge and was wondering how the whole album plays.

Funny story... I had that album in my hands when I was 14 or so through Columbia House but got the Explicit version and had to return it. And fast-forward a decade and Under The Bridge is one of my most favorite songs of all time. I could have been listening to it for an extra 10 years all along :D

Electric Version is a good bit of fun on vocals. It is one of the songs i will request in groups because i enjoy singing it.

I always fuck up the chorus on vocals. I just can't get that jump right at all! Never been able to do it reliably.

It took some runs through for me to be able to jump from the falsetto to a more normal singing voice and back again but i can hammer it on Hard now. Still working on Expert vocals.

I hated Electric Version when RB1 came out but it grew on my over time and now I almost like it.
