Only one key that require dig up. Rest of them are exposed. What regions? I can point you right direction.

So there I was minding my own business in Bowerstone, decided I needed to get the public indecency acheivement, I stripped down to my blue scarred corpulence and started to grind for the public. *blip* achievement!
Then the F'ing cops had to show up. I have a max purity and max good level but something about the way they showed up made me snap. Out comes the katana and whack whack whack, all of the sudden, everyone in town is dead. Except the kids. Why on earth can't you kill kids? 75 dead civilians later, I left town, came back and opted for community service rather than the 40k gold fine. Of course, all the kids still run for the hills when they see me coming.

The community service is bugged, by the way. If you don't do it, eventually it expires with no penalty. If you break parole the guard just runs up to you and you can select "community service" once again.

There's basically no penalty for committing crimes in this game.

Last night, I managed to get married (3rd wife) and had 3 children. So, I spent time at the home in Bowerstone Market and give all expression to them. When I turn around and surprised that the WHOLE people in Bowerstone Market came in the house. I had to elbow myself out of the house! Why did those people invited themselves in my fucking house?!? It's kinda annoys...

What's funny is that if you walk into somebody else's home uninvited they'll call the cops on you in no time. Especially early on when you have no renown.

I just got this game free from my cousin. Does it have anything to do with the first one, or are they entirely separate? Or one of those things where there are a few allusions to the first game.

It takes place 500 years after the first game, and your character is a descendant of the original Hero. You also get to revisit may locales from the first game as well -- some have dramatically changed.

Playing the first game is by no means necessary, but there are quite a few references.

Thanks, figured it would be something like that. Although with Gears 2 and Fallout 3 to play, I probably won't get to this for awhile.

No kidding. Half the time when I try to get it on with my wife, there's a crowd of other women and gay dudes gathered around my bed as well. I never seem to get the option to have sex while this is going on, so I guess she's not into the whole group thing.

I married one of the evil cultists. He'll go to bed with me anywhere, any time. Even in front of the kid! The kid turned out evil as well, which was awesome.

I took my wife and 3 hookers in Bloodstone, the wife was pissed and ran away only to divorce me when I killed the entire town.

I agree that is very annoying. They should leave when you give the "dismiss" sign but it doesn't work very well for me.
Even worse, is tring to give someone a gift in a crowd. the gift goes to whoever is closest, not the person you have highlighted. In my view, that ranks as one of the stupidest programming decisions ever. Of course, if the goal was to piss me off it was a brilliant success.

My wife says: "Right here!? Well, I do like a bit of exibitionism."

The download code should have been emailed to those who register. In the email it says "Accept the consequences of your actions" , so I don't know if there's some sort of a penalty for using the code without the CE, though I doubt it.

Evil version of me can't seem to hang on to a wife. They keep divorcing me and taking the kid. Then I sacrificed one and Child Protective Services came and snatched my kid away. This toon also maxed out gambling at 5 stars. That was a lot of spinnerbox.

I think the whole concept of money was really botched in this game. Not only the gambling glitch, which can be chalked up as "cheating", but more so the aspect of store ownership. The fact that you make money in real time, even when you aren't playing is absurd. It makes it so the WORST thing you could possibly do is to keep money in hand. You're much better off buying some store and turning the game off. The next time you play, you're thousands richer. It essentially makes money worthless. I can't wait to play for the first time after a few months and finding millions in my coffers.

I agree. I turned the game on yesterday for the first time in a week or so and the first thing that happened was I got a hundred thousand dollars. Meanwhile, and without getting too spoilery, there is a point in the game where a large amount of time passes in-game, yet you don't get the money that your character should have been accumulating during that time period.

Press release:

Fable II Premium Downloadable Content
Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios Announce First Fable II Premium Downloadable Content

Fable II adventures continue with downloadable content and free pack to release mid-December 2008

The epic journey begun in Fable II, the fastest selling RPG on Xbox 360, is not over. Starting mid-December 2008, fans will be summoned back into Albion's service with the release of the Knothole Island downloadable content pack. The remote island of Knothole is dying: its golden sands and lush vegetation are covered with snow, its people freezing, its treasures buried. Only a hero can face the trials of the three shrines to bring back the sunshine.

Following its release on Xbox 360 on Oct. 21, more than 1.5 million units of Fable II flew off store shelves worldwide in the first two weeks, making it the most popular game, across all platforms, in the U.S. in October. With the release of the first Fable II downloadable content, available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points, gamers will be invited to set sail for Knothole Island, where new quests, wondrous items and bizarre characters await.

Also in mid-December, fans everywhere will be able to enhance their Fable II experience with the release of a free Fable II downloadable pack exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. To engage in co-op gameplay with a player who has already downloaded the Knothole Island content, gamers will need to download the free pack. Both co-op players must download the Knothole Island (Premium) pack in order to play new quests and enjoy the complete Knothole Island co-op experience.

Free and premium downloaders will receive a show of gifts, including Knight's Boots, Assassins Gloves, a special Weight Loss Potion, collectible silver book and more. Players will also be able to check their standing in over 50 new Leaderboards on Lionhead.com.

As an additional treat for Fable II fans, Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios have created an all-new Albion dashboard theme in celebration of the launch of the New Xbox Experience. Fans who want to show off their Fable II pride can head over to Xbox LIVE Marketplace to download the Albion theme, available now for 250 Microsoft points.

Fable II is exclusively available on Xbox 360 and is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB. Please visit: www.xbox.com/fable2 or www.lionhead.com/fable2 for more information.

Almost at the end of the game (well, the normal end, I guess).

My main complaints are:

1. The furniture glitch. Inexcusable, especially since you don't get another furniture store until much, much later.

2. The money issue. While it was a cool feature, you just make way too much money after you start investing.

3. Lack of clothing/customization options. I like that you could dye your clothes, but the options seemed pretty limited.

4. The "treasures" Whether it was the hidden chests, buried treasures, or even the special weapons you get at the end of dungeons, by the time I got them everything except for the potions were pretty useless. The weapons were underpowered compared to what I already had (that one augment that drains enemy's life is just too good), and some of the chests and buried treasures were just mundane. Plus, a lot of the treasure seemed to be gold, which was just really insignificant due to point 2.

5. Getting people on your side (or against you) is still way too easy. Just spam a few expressions, gather a bunch of people, then show off some trophies.

6. Only one save per game. So I can't simultaneously have a good and evil character.

7. I still hate how just using magic really alters the way you look.

Still, it's a fun, albeit short, game. Of course, i played through as a "good" hero, so I'm sure it's a bit more fun doing the other side. Also, I haven't tried the online part.

to releasing the downloadable content so quickly. And for offering free and premium versions.

What is the "furniture glitch"? I haven't cared enough to really buy any or redecorate. And since it's so absurdly easy to make money, it's just easier to buy a better house rather than redeorate. I never thought making money so easy to acquire would actually be a problem in a roll-playing game.
