Is the modifier to home prices when the owner is killed bugged? Twice I've killed the owner of a place I wanted to buy, and both times it had no effect.

I've been playing this for a few hours now (I just finished the monk-escort mission). And I don't know... I don't hate the game or anything, but the whole experience feels pretty hollow. And unlike really good games that I start, it's not the sort of game that I'm thinking about playing when I'm not playing it - it feels like kind of a chore to play. Does it get better, more interesting?

^^^ Oh God Slop, don't say that.... I just picked this freaking game up because I co-worker wouldn't stop raving about it. I currently have a backlog of games and still picked this up hoping that it would be sweet way to kick-off the post-holiday gaming season.

I kind of agree. I don't think about this game when I am not playing it, but it definitely doesn't feel like a chore. I think the fact that Fallout 3 comes out on Tuesday might have to do with it.

I noticed that, too. Maybe they decrease over time?

I had this problem also but then i came back and killed the wife also, maybe she was out the first time? After that the price did drop.

question: Playing as a female character, can you marry female NPCs?

Yes you can. In fact if you play as a female character, other female NPCs will hit on you.

Has anyone had much fun playing co-op? I tried a little with my best friend online and it just didn't work well. I wonder why they even bothered with that feature if it's so gimped.

Seriously, while the floating orbs are cool, what's the point if you can't bring your character into their world and they can't bring theirs into yours -- why do we care if he's standing right next to you or at the other end of Albion? Either way, you'll have to turn into a generic henchman and warp into his world.

It didn't take long for my female toon to get married to a lesbian. It continues to ask about "protected" vs. "unprotected" sex though. No free rides here.

I have a question about armor, is there no armor in this game?

The anvil doesn't need forging.

Scissoring's not an option?

I'm playing as a female as well. I got knocked up, hoping that I'd get to run around kicking ass as a preggo. No luck -- the baby instantly appears.

When I played last night I got married and bought a house. My wife and I had sex once, but I can't seem to get her to have sex again (just like real life! Zing!).

Perhaps it has something to do with the half dozen women who are in love with me and followed me home (completely unlike real life! Zing!).

Nope, no armor. Just clothing. Attractiveness, ridiculousness, and cross-dressng are the three modifiers I have seen so far.

I was playing earlier and decided to play some Spinnerbox in the game. I bet the max amount, and after a few pulls hit a jackpot for 8500 gold or so. I quit immediately after, and the Game Master says something like "You think you're better than me?" and takes out his pistol, and shoots me

I had safety mode on, so since he attacked first, I killed him with no guards coming after me. Then the people in the bar crowded around me and started cheering. I even got renown for it

I'm in the process of buying every home and business in bowertown. I have 5 homes and 6 businesses so far.

No, I didn't do the pre-order cheat. I'm just an excellent blacksmith.

My lesbian wife hasn't popped out a kid yet. The weightloss is brutal.

Spoilers regarding the ending:
Spoiler:
I was nothing but good and pure through the whole game (I only married one person, never had any extramarital affairs, gave the shadow priests the seal myself, etc. -- hell, I've been running around with a halo over my head ever since I saved Garth from the Spire); however, at the end I chose to save my family and dog -- the first somewhat selfish thing I did all game -- and Hammer is going to give me shit? I had a ten year old son and a newborn daughter. I don't want to run around Albion without my dog. Besides, if it weren't for me everybody would probably be dead, including her. Fun game though.

A question about the gargoyle in the guild cave:

Spoiler:
I keep trying to shoot it, but I can't seem to break it. Am I doing something obviously and stupidly wrong?

I finally bagged a loose lesbian without having to get married and my nagging wife was none the wiser. Getting a little tired of all these guys hitting on me though.

That's what the "Follow" command and the Wheel of Sacrifice are for.

Did you stop and think that maybe that's YOUR fault? What are you wearing? Maybe you're asking for it?
