I watched the MP trailer last night on Live. Really wish they would have left it out and just focused on single player. It looked sloppy in my opinion.

Looks good. I just hope that they concentrate on maintaining as tight of a narrative as the first, instead of merely tossing in more enemies and action just for the chaos of it.

It does look alittle crazy, but I believe a different studio worked on the MP, so its not like they were not able to devote the whole team to make the SP as good as possible, I hope the story is good, Bioshock didnt really need a sequel

Bioshock Limted Edition detailed. From IGN

November 19, 2009 - Like most major releases nowadays, BioShock 2 will also be getting its very own special edition package.

2K has revealed its impressive contents, and promises a limited, single-production run. So, if you want one, I'd probably pre-order it or something.

For $99 ($89 for PC), here's what you'll be getting:

# A 13"x13" premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover.

# Three posters featuring vintage ads from Rapture (rolled)

# A vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock

# CD containing the BioShock 2 orchestral score

# A 164 page 8"x11" hardbound artbook chock full of developer commentary

That's some nice stuff if you're a huge BioShock fan. At least they have the courtesy to roll the posters. This edition will be available in "most countries" for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.

Looks like it's a pretty decent LE, but I'll still stick with the standard.

I like the limited edition from the first one better. A Big Daddy figure, a soundtrack CD, and a making of DVD all for $10 more than the regular. This shit doesn’t seem like its worth the extra $40 but I’m guessing since it’s limited people will eat it up.

I was all over the original LE. $40 for what's listed above? No way.

Yeah for 40 bucks now a days you need to get some kind of figure/statue. The first one came with a big daddy, why couldn't they include a Big Sister this time around. Pass

I'd drop $40 if it included an autographed Ken Levine photo.

Holy crap. I've never been much of a limited edition kind of guy, but the book, the vinyl, and the poster artwork have me very tempted.

Yeah, I agree that's the first LE I've actually considered.

No interest in the vinyl. I have nothing to play it on. The other stuff would be cool. Especially the book.

One week away and not much hype or any reviews yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

Is it really only a week away? I saw a commercial for this the other night and it got me very psyched!

Im pretty excited... Would probably be more if I didnt have such a huge back log of games waiting to be played. This will probably get bumped to the top though.

I have the Limited Edition pre-ordered but am seriously considering dropping it to just the regular edition, I have no record player and as nice as the other stuff would be to have I just don't know if I want to pay $40 for it.

Can't wait for the game though. Unfortunately it's coming right in midterm season for me .

The limited edition looks cool, but I agree with eveyone else that an extra $40 is insane. The Bioshock limited edition was worth it just for the Big Daddy.

I'm getting the LE and I don't have a record player either.

I got the LE for the first game, PC version, and a few months ago I got the Xbox version. My plan was to play the Xbox version again before Bioshock 2 was released.

Yeah, I'm still playing Borderlands and the game is going to be released next week. I may try to play some this weekend.

I would consider the LE later down the line if it dropped in price.

Re: Bioshock 2: Out in a week

According to Kotaku, they're airing a 3 min 15 sec trailer tonight during the Jimmy Fallon show (1st commercial break). Set your DVR's accordingly.
