Well I mean that transport/train you have to repair so you can take it from area to area. You fix it throughout chapter 1 than take it to chapter 2, etc. I am loving this game! I only play it at night and theres some weird shit. All that whispering and talking. I dont know if theyre trying to convey 'ghosts' or its in the players head and hes having these thoughts.

I usually don't pay full price for figures but when I saw this one in TRU today, I had to buy it. It just looks too cool and has my weapon of choice, the Disc Ripper. $13.99 at TRU. Looks like it is running around 17 to 20 bucks online every where else.

There are two version from what I saw online...Bloody with the disc ripper and normal with the plasma cutter. The mask lights up and it just basically looks cool. I loved the design for the armor/uniform since it is so unique looking, so I had to pick it up.

Ah, I didn't notice the difference between the two figures, I thought they were just money hungry and released the same figure with two different weapons (well, they did, but at least there's some difference).

The Best Buy that I purchased was listed at $30 but it rang up for $20. It's the Platinum Hits edition. I assume YMMV ....

Re: Dead Space
I finally just got around to picking the game up yesterday. Once in I couldn't back out. You guys nailed it - play it at night with the surround sound cranked. Although I'm admittedly not a huge gamer, I haven't played a game that has creeped me out as much since the Suffering on PS2.

But I did take the advice from you guys and I played with my surround sound turned up....hoooolyyyy shhhiiitttt....there's a lot of sound that's subtle and eerie that I had miss out on by having my system at its regular volume level. That along with the loud noise that are there for scares make for a one crazy atmosphere.
Anyone notice how the

I miss playing this game, I wish it was longer. I played through it so many times I just couldn't bring myself to do it again.

I want to play it again but I am just going to wait until it drops in trade value to nothing. I still got peak value for it when I traded it and figured I would just pick up another copy to keep for good when it gets super cheap.
I got Extraction today and plan on breaking into it tonight. Looking forward to getting back into the Dead Space world. I recommend the dvd movie if you have never seen it.

I actually wish I didn't see the movie before playing the game. It removes a lot of the unexpected thrills. Definitely watch it after one's thoroughly into the game.
The movie itself is ridiculously ultra-violent and gruesome. Compliments the game fairly well. And that Twinkle Twinkle Little Star song is probably one of the most haunting songs I've heard in a film (live action or animated). Awesome tie in to the game ....

I loved, loved, loved this game. Especially at the end, when you find out, just kiddin.
Anyways, I played this game the same way I watched Audition, in short bursts. Yeah I'm a wimp. Same reason I'm not watching paranormal activity till it hits dvd

Re: Dead Space
So wait, you are waiting to see a movie about a house being haunted until you can watch it in your house?
It would be much easier to see in the theater with other people. That way if someone gets killed by a malevolent spirit it may be one of the other 500 people there.

Something the press photos don't show you.

And I agree that it is best to watch the movie after you have finished the first game.
