Offspring pack is up.

Just did the Offspring Battle - woohoo, I'm first overall!

The battle is only Gone Away and Self Esteem - both very easy songs (on Hard), but fun to play. The crowd sings along on Gone Away.

I've played through RB1, and am working my way through RB2. I've got my fair share of DLC. I downloaded the RHCP album over the weekend, the store shows it's purchased, but I can't find it to play anywhere. Am I missing something? I've never had to unlock DLC before..

It basically never got downloaded. So I just redownloaded it and made sure that it went into my download queue.

So just go back and download it again and check to make sure it's queued up and see if that helps. It's already paid for so you needn't purchase it again.

Appreciate the advice. I went into the config blade and looked in the memory section for the download, and it showed it with an error icon and said it was incomplete. Deleted it, and downloaded it again, and it worked fine.

The crowd also sings in Pretty Fly.

I just have crowd noise turned all the way down. I hate it when the crowd sings along.

Really? I love it. The crowd singing on All Right Now is really cool towards the end of the song. The crowd is singing the chorus while the lead singer is singing his own thing. Very cool.

To those posting pics of your bands, are your members wearing their current clothes? My pics show my band in the outfits they were wearing when i signed up to the site versus their current threads.

I love the crowds singing along but I HATE the echo when you go into overdrive in vocal mode. It's so distracting.

BTW: I am no longer under Leviosa. I changed to my normal ID JustSamDC so if you see any requests under that name, it's me. :-) I want to switch HotThang to JustSamDC as well but I have over 1000 posts and have been here for years under HotThang. I'll still request it and see what happens.

Grrr. For some reason I can't link my stupid account. It keeps claiming that my Live ID is currently attached to another profile, but I know that's not true - and I'm not logged into that account anywhere.

I absolutely sucked at (expert) Self Esteem, and I wasn't much better at Pretty Fly (sightreads). Gone Away I 5-banged.
All Right Now was easy, and once I got the hang of Bad To The Bone I was OK. I think after I play them a few times I'll be good to go.

I got the same message but when I refreshed the page I was miraculously attached and logged in.

My pictures showed up but almost all of them aren't the poses I selected and a member of my band who was in a group shot when I 'took' the pic isn't in one of them!

I did the Offspring Challenge on expert myself(all 5 songs). Self Esteem kicked my ass as well. Pretty Fly and Gone Away were pretty fun though.

QFT. I wasn't expecting the notes to be so fast on self esteem. Gone Away is my favorite of the Offspring songs, but kinda boring. I really like All Right Now (especially the crowd stuff), but it is very repetitive/boring, good party song though.

Oh god, I hope I am right and not just being teased. There are a pair of pants in the store called Tragically Hipsters - and the description is a lyric from one of their songs. I SOOOOOOOOO would love to see a Hip pack make it in this game. In fact, when I just made my rockband.com profile a couple days ago, that's who I put as the "who needs to be in the game" spot.

fucking bring it.

So I have my solo band with my main character, and also I made two substitute characters to always be there. But when I go to make pictures on the website, my main dude is the only one who appears as part of my band. How do I get my backups in there too?

From what I've read, you have to make them actual band members for the photo ... you can downgrade them back to stand-ins after.
