I agree with you on the dictionary implementation. Being able to bluff a word is a good plan. Although they could check every single word you entered couldn't they? In other words there isn't a penalty for questioning a word and it being in the dictionary is there?

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Peggle fuss was about. I know someone posted a link to it, but I don't play anything on PC, so I'm looking forward to the XBLA demo. Is it a game that would be better served on the DS?
It's hard to take your posts seriously with that goofy avatar staring at me.

I'm super excited about Scrabble but I might grab the DS version.
I desperately just need the training. The girl I play with fucking DESTROYS me every time we play. Then she gets cocky about it and I tell her to play me at Geometry Wars and she's like "I'm not stupid." Well excuse me for taking interest in YOUR hobbies so we can play together. Blech. Women.

Okay, how about a What Would You Like to See on XBLA discussion?
I want to see a simple dungeon crawler of some kind. We have Arkadian Warriors which was ALMOST awesome except the combat sucked balls which ruined pretty much the entire game. I still might get it for co-op and it's only $10 after all and MAYBE the other two characters don't play as clunky as the demo character.
More modern board games. This is becoming some of a new addiction for me (anybody who wants to come over to my place this Saturday night for me board and card game night, just PM me). Sierra needs to drop more Carcassonne expansions on top of this.

Telltale Continues Expansion to Xbox Live® Arcade with Acclaimed Sam & Max Game Series
Xbox LIVE® joins PC and Wii as new channel for "gaming's first sitcom"
SAN RAFAEL, CA, February 26, 2009 - The dog and rabbity-thing stars of Telltale's popular episodic games are one step closer to world domination today with the announcement that the first two "seasons" of Sam & Max will be appearing on Xbox LIVE Arcade. This is the award-winning comedy duo's first appearance on the Xbox 360, as well as on a connected console download service. Worldwide PC and Wii retail releases of the second season are also upcoming.
These approaching releases will sport catchy new monikers to more closely tie the season titles with their respective story arcs. Season One, which takes the Freelance Police from the New York City streets to Washington D.C. and all the way to the moon on the trail of a hypnotic nemesis, will be dubbed Sam & Max Save the World for all new releases moving forward. Season Two, which involves a baffling series of time paradoxes at the hands of unconventional aliens, has been renamed Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space. The Xbox LIVE Arcade releases will carry these new titles, as will Atari's 2009 retail versions of the second season.
"With Sam & Max coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade and the approaching retail launch, we're reaching a larger audience than we ever have before," says Telltale CEO Dan Connors. "These new releases give us an opportunity to better communicate the imaginative stories that make the Sam & Max games so special, and to strengthen the unique identity of each season."
Both Sam & Max seasons will be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade as full-season bundles, providing instant gratification to players who have been eagerly waiting for the Freelance Police to appear on Microsoft's console. The second Sam & Max season -- which recently received Best Adventure Game accolades from IGN and PC Gamer and took home five Aggie Awards, including Best Comedy Writing, Best Gameplay, and Game of the Year from Adventure Gamers -- is also scheduled to hit retail for PC and Wii in the coming months.
Today's news follows Telltale's recent announcement that the highly anticipated new series, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, is leading the company's expansion to Xbox LIVE Arcade. I want to see more artsy and experimental XBLA games. Other than Braid, there's not much in that category. The PS3 on the other hand has Flow, Flower, Noby Noby Boy, Everyday Shooter, PixelJunk Eden, etc. Fortunately, we do have the Community Games section, and there are some great experimental games there.

Then just more games. Give me some Reiner Knizia games - Lord of the Rings in particular. Give me Arkham Horror.
I would also flip over something that took the classic game Werewolf/Mafia and put it on Live. Use the cameras, assign roles randomly, it could be really fun. Heck, that could be a decent Community Game.
I also want to see some Icehouse and Piecepack games hit the marketplace. I have been playing with some friends via email on superdupergames and a few of them would be perfect for Xbox Live.
Finally, give me a rogue. I want some form of Nethack with passable graphics on Live. Let me compare how well i do with others. Give me tons of confusing commands. Let me send bones files to others on my friends list. But do it soon.

Blow is kind of an artsy puzzle CG.

I will buy Dungeon Twister because i like board games. I own Space Invaders for the DS already so won't double dip. Lode Runner was awesome on the Apple IIe so i may pick it up depending. Worms i know nothing about so it will depend on what it brings to the table. I rarely play the current Worms i bought.

Have you looked into the Community Games? There are some interesting experimental things out there. You want experimental? Try the trial of Into the Pit. Thank me later.

I have but it's daunting. It looks like piles of shit that may have something interesting hidden in the poo somewhere. I've been meaning to check out recommendation threads on other forums though but I have had little time to sit at my Xbox lately (and will continue to have little time until mid-March).

Treasure has hinted at it, so it's not a complete tease, but I don't know if there's anything definitive coming out of it. It seems like a no-brainer since Ikaruga seemed to get a lot of attention. Regardless, Treasure is doing SOMETHING else on the 360, they just haven't revealed it yet.

Blow:

Into the Pit:

Galax-E-Mail

Check out those three. I can't recommend Blow enough. It is my absolute #1 CG. You want experimental then go with Into the Pit. It is brilliant.
Galx-E-Mail is a fun twin stick shooter that costs 200 MS Points.
All three games have trials associated. No excuse to not look into them - i even linked that shit.
