Nice, thanks. Seems like everything else on the PS3, it might be the same, but it's way more convoluted.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I love PS+, but the backlog of games I haven't even touched yet is so overwhelming. Every couple of months an awesome looking game comes out, and then I realize that I still haven't played something I wanted to that I received a year ago.

This is a good problem to have.

I mentioned recently in its dedicated game thread that I've recently started playing Sands of Time and really, really like it. For $4, it's a no-brainer -- grab it. Looks like I'll finally play Alice : Madness Returns (thanks for making the original game free, EA). Maybe Fight Night as well.

Goddamn, that's a sweet sale.

Cool. Might grab the Ratchet collection and Lego Batman 2.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Do not hesitate to get Fight Night at that price. The story mode is so worth it.

Do it. The Ratchet Collection is so much fun to re-visit in HD. And Lego Batman 2 is a lot of fun to play through (even if it's a little short for a Lego game). It's my favorite Lego game, I think.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

First Ratchet games I played were 'Tools' and 'CiT.' As for LEGO, I'll take a short game, I got burnt out on them because they were so long.

I'll also second your recommendation of Prince of Persia. It's a tad easy, but was a blast to play, especially for fans of Sands of Time.

Oh, then you're in for a treat with R&C. Especially with Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. The first one had some flaws that they ironed out by the first sequel. They also re-cast Ratchet. It's hard to go back to the first game once you've played the others.

I really need a bigger hard drive now.

Is that why I'm not enjoying the first Ratchet game? I'm finding it tedious and stopped playing it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

That's all R&C games imo.

iyo.

Yeah, the second (and third) are much, much better. Skip the first one.

Strange that we still haven't gotten our PS Plus update for July yet; it's usually up by 10 AM PT on the first Monday of the month. I'm dying to see what we'll be getting this month...

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Yep, imo.

Yet somehow I made it through the first Jax and Daxter just fine.

I'll probably pass on this sale. It's great, but I'm trying to burn through my backlog before PS4, and I am still looking at LoU, Saints Row, and all three Bioshocks.

The first J&D was the best of the lot. They made Jak all emo in the second one and the third, while better still wasn't as good as the first. While J&D seems like a natural progression from Crash Bandicoot, you'd never think that those guys would come back and create something as epic as the Uncharted trilogy next. They're a great studio; Sony was smart to lock them up.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Is Saints Row still good for PS+? I've lapsed and need to enter a code and download it. If I missed it, I'll just hold on to my PS+ card.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Saints Row 3 is still active (and will probably be for a while). SR2 is long-gone.

And Deus Ex goes away tomorrow with the weekly Store Update. We still don't know what's going to replace it.

Already have B3 on the 360 and JSR from a previous PSN sale, but that is an awesome set of games. It'll be fun having so many new B3 players on PSN.

I was just thinking about Jet Set the other day. If I were to make a list of old games that I wish were freebies, that would have been near the top...along with Beyond Good and Evil HD and the first Jak

BG&E was 400pts on Live. Less than that if you got your points cheap.

Trying to buy the Ratchet Collection at the online store and it shows full price. When do they usually change the prices?
