Anyone here play through Escape Plan on PS4? I cannot get the touchpad mechanics to work at all. It's very frustrating. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.

hey guys, I have codes for Twisted Metal, Destruction Derby, and Warhawk all PS1 classics for the PSN. They expire on the 31st of the month (so in two days!).

If you'd like one, let me know!

It's not.

I'll take DD Wiz. See how it looks on Vita.

I for one, hope these PSN issues last as long as possible. My theory is, the longer the outages are drawn out, the better chance we have that Sony will give us free stuff to compensate!

Since I was focused on Mordor for so long I've fallen behind on PSN freebies. So, probably late to the party, but I'll share anyway in case anyone else is behind like me.

Titan Attacks! - Fun little game. At first glance and 10 minutes, it seems rather lame. Modern Galaga? 'Eh. But three days later and all the trophies done, it's a damn fun little game. I can see going back to it just to kill some time. Leveling up your ship is a nice little touch.

Stick it to the Man - Quirky, funny and unique. Not a bad little puzzle/platformer. The spaghetti brain mechanic could have used some tweaking though. Anytime I tried to read someone's mind that was near someone else I'd have to fiddle with the thing to lock on to the right person. Missed a few trophies, not sure if I'll go back for them.

Steamworld Dig - Not quite done yet and not sure how far I've got to go but pretty good. Not quite sure what the point of the game is, no real story to care about. Kind of a modern Dig Dug.

Escape Plan - Played a half dozen levels and am stuck on a touchpad puzzle. It's just not working for me. Kind of annoying.

Child of Light - Played an hour last night. I'm not usually into RPGs, but what I played was great. I also loved the art style. I was bummed to find out it was just a demo. Don't recall downloading it.

Free Playstation Plus games for January 2015:

Already known :
inFamous First Light (PS4)
The Swapper (Triple Cross Buy)

Just Announced:
Prototype 2 (PS3)
Duck Tales Remastered (PS3)
Whoa Dave (Vita/ PS4 version coming later)
Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition (Vita/ PS3)

I actually played a little Whoa Dave at PSX. It's a simplistic 80s style arcade game and nothing too impressive but still kind of fun for short bursts. I've played a lot worse.

Duck Tales = excellent! I never got around to buying this but wanted to check it out

Duck Tales Remastered is one of the few games I've purchased through PSN and it's worth the money and more than worth the price of FREE. The graphics and boss fights are updated but the play control is exactly the same and it's so, so fun.

Damnit. I just bought the physical disc of DuckTales on clearance at Target last week. It was only 5.98, but still.

Also already own (and have not played) Prototype 2 and Duke Nukem. I just need to stop buying games all together.

It takes me so long to get through games that I stopped buying new/used ones a few years ago. Aside from the Mass Effect Trilogy, I've been playing only the ones that have come through on PS+. Fortunately, I never fall into the "I already bought that game" situation that so many people talk about.

DAMN IT! I bought Duke Nukem in 1998. I knew if I had just waited another 16+ years I would have gotten it for free!

Sony just has a sense of humor and Duke Nukem free is a shot at Driveclub still not being free after all the excitement of the announcement of it.

I just bought the best RPG the PSX had to offer. Suikoden 2!

It's too bad the other 3 went away from the 2D sprites because they won't hold up nearly as well.

When do the free games for PS+ usually go live? It's been about a year since I was a member, so I've forgotten.

First Tuesday of the month. Around 1 PM PT

Played a little inFamous First Light when I got home. It's a good game. Man, is Fetch a better protagonist than Deslin was. Nice free month.

BTW : download the free dynamic PlayStation Now theme for PS4 to register for a chance to win a year of the PS Now service.
