Sorry, so obsessed with my dearly departed 60 GB PS3 :rip: that I forgot to post the weekly update.

I'm not a huge fan of Star Drone, but for that price, it's worth picking up. It's a cross-buy title, BTW.

Anyone know if my save from the disc version of Darksiders will let me pick up where I left off on the digital version?

Most games have the same game save work for PS3 disc and PSN versions. There are a few exceptions -- Sly Cooper, Burnout Paradise, Ratchet & Clark : All 4 One, but most work just fine. Don't know specifically about Darksiders, so you might want to wait until next week before you dump your disc version, just in case.

I'm on the verge of signing up for PS+ for a year finally. I'm not sure why I've put that off for so long.

Double Dragon Neon will be gone from the PS Plus Instant Game Collection in a few hours, so if you want that game for free, sign up on your PS3 ASAP.

Apparently there's a big PSN sale next week with PS Plus discounts of up to 75% off.

I hope and pray that my replacement Slim PS3 comes back from Sony before this sale ends. My coffin arrives today from Sony, so if I get it mailed off today, I might get the new one in time to buy some games on sale. :fc:

Decker's up to his ears with sick kids in the office. This is the first moment I grabbed to even glance at a computer this morning. Figures this will be a one-week sale. I won't have my PS3 by then so I won't be able to buy a damn thing. That really sucks because I'd certainly grab The Unfinished Swan. maybe a couple of others as well. :sad:

Doubt it. That would require some really good luck and lately all my timing for the PS3 has been way off.
My Nurse Practitioner's son has a PS3. I suppose I could go by his house some time next week, activate my account on his system, buy the games I want and then deactivate the account from his system. Seems like a lot of work, though.

BTW : Get ready for PS Plus members complaining. Shank 2 was a PS Plus freebie shortly after it was released. Those that grabbed it then won't be able to buy it at a discount now, even if they want to (in case they want to actually "own" the game and play it after their membership is up). That's a universal complaint at CAG whenever something like this arises.

I'm sure someone here would be more than willing to log on to your account and make something happen. You'd just have to change passwords before and after.

I have Psychonuts on an Xbox disc but have yet to play it. Will this version be the same or are there major differences?

And which Ratchet and Clank is that?

Nope. It's exactly the same game. Not HD. No trophies. Just finally came to PS3 after like eight years. Great game, though.

I assume that's just the remastered first R&C game (easily the worst of the three) from the remastered trilogy. It's the same with J&D. I don't own the J&D Trilogy set, but think I'd rather get the trilogy disc for $20 than buy this game by itself.

Thanks to those who offered to help me with my purchasing connindrum. I was able to go to my NP's house and used her son's PS3. Only took a few minutes. Got Unfinished Swan, Nights, Jet Set Radio and Pschonauts for 11.25. While I already have Pschonauts on an old Xbox disc, for $2.50 this was worth the convenience. some great deals this week for PS Plus members. Wish I didn't already own all those full disc-based games.
