Do not hesitate to get Fight Night at that price. The story mode is so worth it.

I saw Fight Night on clearance at Kmart yesterday for 4.97, and they had a bunch of copies. I thought about it, but my OCD about trophies and the stupid online ones scared me off. Plus the fact that it's an older game and EA could shut down the servers at any time.

Seriously, don't even fool with any of that stuff. The story mode is just the best.

No, that's the entire month of July. They give a monthly preview of what they're going to give away. It's usually one new game a week added with the Tuesday store update (and one goes away from the IGC at the same time).

So general SEN.com question.

If you queue stuff up online, will your PS3 automatically download it overnight, or do you have to manually power on the console like xbox for it to grab it?

I see. Thanks.

If you are a PSPlus member you can set it to automatically download updates and stuff for whatever time you want it to. For instance mine is set for 2 am. It powers up and goes into a mode where it grabs updates and downloads them along with any other downloads you have in the queue. If you have no PSPlus then you turn it on before you go to bed.

you have to manually power up and manually download. there is no auto-download for new purchases. the auto-download is just for updates, if you have psplus.

Bummer. Thanks though. Since the system can power on for updates, that should be something buying online should do.

Agreed, that would be badass!

My system used to go grab PS Plus freebies like Multiplayer betas and exclusive demos on its own overnight and install them without my even knowing about it, but that changed a while ago. I think people were complaining that they were getting their HDD filled up with stuff they didn't want.

I can see that, but games you are purchasing online? That would be a kick ass feature.

July 8th PlayStation Plus Update
Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD (PS3)

PSN Price: $34.99, Free for PS Plus members
http://a.psblogstatics.com/wp-conten..._MasterArt.jpg
It’s up to you to help guide Munch in efforts to rescue fellow test creatures. These critters will be forever loyal to Munch and in turn enable his escape. Once free, Munch teams up with Abe and together they are guided by the wisdom of the Almighty Raisin. They are informed as to how to accomplish their goals, but in order to do so, they must work together. For Munch, his dream is to bring back his species from the brink of extinction. For Abe, it is to rescue his Mudokon buddies.

I'm looking forward to finally playing the HD update of the original Xbox launch title. Can't believe they actually charge $34.99 for it on PSN. No wonder I never bought it!

And of course we have those sale titles I mentioned above.

The Cave leaves with the next update, so grab it in the next week if you haven't already.

Looks like it's a good time to start my PS+ membership. I want to grab Joe Danger and The Cave before they're gone.

I have no idea where that $34.99 price came from. I bought it on release day in a fit of original XBox nostalgia and there's no way I would have paid that. My nostalgia quickly turned to regret as the game felt very tedious very quickly, but maybe I didn't give it enough time to reconnect.

Started my PS+ subscription last night

But then I started getting error codes when trying to purchase and download all of the free stuff

Try the online store instead. Be sure to grab Joe Danger 2 as it'll go away in a few hours from now.

If I start a PS+ membership now, will it carry-over to the PS4 in November?

Thanks, that seemed to work perfectly and was a hell of a lot faster than trying to do on the PS3.

Does anyone know what's up with The Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands? It's listed as $4.00 for PS Plus members on the main screen on my PS3 store page, but then when I click it, it's listed at full price. Also, it was on the list for July 2-9 that was posted earlier here. When I look at the online store on my computer, all they have is the classic collection.

The store updated, so this weeks item's are now on sale, and last week's are not.

I guess I have a different understanding of "July 9" than the PSN store.
