I don't have that one. The only minis I've ever bought are Tetris and Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess. I'm not a fan of minis since I have an ipod touch for those sort of games and I get a lot of "free" ones via Playstation Plus.

According to Joystiq, Uno is on sale for 99 cents. I might get it even though I have the XBLA version already. Is the PS3 version at all different?

Dead Nation's a lot of fun.
99 cents for Uno is a steal. I have it on both XBLA and PS3. They're both the same except XBLA uses your avatar.

I haven't tried it, but they did the same thing they did on the BD. The original game was designed and drawn for an arcade monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio. On the BD and this version they have cropped the top and bottom to fit the 16x9 screen. Their subsequent release of Space Ace offered both OAR and widescreen options, but I doubt this version of Dragon's Lair has it because it would almost double the size of the download.
But if this doesn't bother you, it seems like a solid port based on IGN's review. Their review rated it poorly, but you know how they rate everything against modern games. And by modern standards, it's pretty limited. This is more for those who are nostalgic for it.
BTW, it has the option of showing you the moves if you want to chea..., er, I mean, make it less frustrating.

I could see myself picking it up eventually, but at $15 and knowing with near-100% certainly that it will be on sale for half off by next summer, I really think this is one I can wait on. I already have a twin-stick co-op zombie shooter on XBLA (Zombie Apocalypse) that I almost never play. This one can wait.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
It does seem like it's a huge step up from Zombie Apocalypse (based on reviews, podcasts etc.) but, in general, I agree. $15 is a big hunk of change for a downloadable when I already have so much on my plate (especially after last weeks PSN sale!). So I'll be waiting for a cheaper price too.

Hey, it only took six months, but Playstation Plus is offering a "free" game that I don't already own. And a really good and expensive one at that!
As seen in Joystiq:
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse free for PlayStation Plus members this month
by Andrew Yoon on Dec 1st 2010 7:00PM

Don't have PlayStation Plus yet? This might be the one offer that seals the deal. On December 14th, members of Sony's premium PSN service will be able to download all five episodes of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse for free. Considering the bundle usually goes for about $30, the $50 asking price for a year of PlayStation Plus seems entirely justified -- that is, if you don't already own the game.
Other highlights include the free and early access to Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves and a full game trial of Prototype. Check out all the offers after the break.
Additions for 12/7:
Featured Games/DLC
Sackboy Prehistoric Moves (Free and early access to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $5.99)
Tron: Evolution: Black Guard Multiplayer Skin (Free and exclusive to PlayStation Plus Subscribers)
Featured Avatars
Hustle Kings Avatar Bundle (Free to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $1.49)
Featured Qore Episode
Qore December Episode 31 (Free to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $2.99)
Additions for 12/14:
Full Game Trial
Prototype Full Game Trial (Free and exclusive to PlayStation Plus Subscribers)
Featured Games
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse (Episodes 1-5) (Free to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $34.99)
Fieldrunners (Free to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $6.99)
Crash Tag Team Racing (Free to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, regular price $5.99)
Discounted Games
Marvel Super Hero Squad PSP (PlayStation Plus price $15.00, regular price $29.99)
Flow PSP (PlayStation Plus price $5.99, regular price $7.99)
Tomb Raider III PS One (PlayStation Plus price $3.00, regular price $5.99)
Galaxy Fight – PS One Import (PlayStation Plus price $3.00, regular price $5.99)
Featured Home Item
Burn Zombie Burn Home Item – Zombie Heads (Free and exclusive to PlayStation Plus Subscribers)

Bummer that they're repeating Fieldrunners. And even though I don't like the current generation of Sam & Max games, I'm sure this will make a lot of people happy and stop the complaining. I'm happy about getting to try out the LBP spinoff!

Yeah. It's Move-enabled too, which is nice. But it'll be free with LBP2 anyway, making it less of a big deal.
Speaking of Move-enabled PSN games, I just finally tried Hustle Kings that I picked up during a PS+ promotion. It really works pretty well with the Move. The tactile sensation of moving the Move controller as one would with a cue is far superior to using a controller (something I found very unsatisfying with the XBLA pool game I've had forever). It's also way, way more satisfying than the odd Move integration that was added to High Velocity Bowling. I really think this one is a winner with the Move. And you don't need a second controller or a Nav to use in this game (but I kept one in my non-dominant hand anyway to feel more like I was shooting an actual pool cue).

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Per Joystiq, Playstation Plus members will be getting Lead and Gold : Gangs of the Wild West (PSN Online Multiplayer game), Spyro The Dragon (PS One game for PS3 and PSP) and the PSN mini Pipe Madness on January 4th.
I'm beginning to think this is actually well worth the $50, even to a bonehead like me who owns a lot of this stuff already.
Having said that, I haven't bought a regularly-priced PSN game since this service began. It's a powerful disincentive to buy their games.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I'm definitely renewing when it expires. I signed up for it as soon as it came out and have gotten WAY more than $50 worth of goodies. If you're interested in ANYTHING in the PSN store, it's a no-brainer. Even when it's not free, there's usually a discounted price for Plus members. Personally I think it keeps getting better and better. I look forward to the Tuesday store updates.

Has anyone been having trouble buying items through PSN lately? I've been trying to sign up for psn+ but keep getting an error when I try to add funds to my wallet. I tried entering a new CC and adding the funds through their site but it's not working there either.

Usually there is something about your billing address that the system doesn't like if it won't take your credit card. Make sure you are entering it exactly as it appears on your bill. You could also just get a prepaid PSN or card and use it. They do also sell prepaid Playstation Plus membership cards if you want to sign up for Plus.
