Anyone else a PSN+ member who got Soldner X bundle? I was desperately trying to spend some of the credit I picked up courtesy of Kmart and ended up taking a flier on this. I've only tried the X2 game so far. It's a nice-looking SHMUP; nothing too special, but I like that it's easier than the typical bullet hell that's typical of the genre; you won't die just by getting hit once and thank God for that.. It's still not cheap, but $10.79 for two full games seems pretty good to me.

I've been waiting on a deal for Soldner, I'm not a member of PS+ though. 
Raiden Fighter Aces & Raiden IV have fulfilled my SCHMUP needs though. Both (or should I say all 4) are very fun and not mind numbingly brutal either.

In today's update (9-14), they've added a couple more PSOne games to that 15th anniversary section, and now it's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for $4.99 and Castlevania Chronicles for $2.99. SOTN is simply a must-buy at that price if you don't already have it. I don't know if they're doing these weekly or what.

Good price on SOTN. For a moment I thought about re-buying it for the PSP (I have the XBLA version), then I remembered it's in the PSP game Dracula-X that I already own. So I guess that's an easy "pass" for me.

Here's the PSN Store Update for today. Best deal (by far) is Monkey Island 2 for $4.99 just two months after the release. What a quick turn around. Of course, I already own it.

It looks like sort of a remake of the original Castlevania, made for the X68000 computer in Japan back in 1993, then ported to the PSX.
With "chronicles" in the titles you'd expect multiple games, but it seems to just have original or "arrange" modes of the one game. It does have some artwork (including stuff from SOTN) and an interview with Koji Igarashi.

The first game (Secret of Monkey Island) is also $4.99, and they added a $7.49 bundle that includes both games for people that haven't bought either yet.

FYI, Trine is $10 now on PSN. I'm not sure whether it's a permanent price drop, but I think it is since it's not in the "sale" folder.
I'm hard pressed to think of a better $10 game.

Joe Danger is great. Like a funny, much more forgiving Trials HD. It might go free at some point on PS+ as well, but it's well worth asking price, let alone 50% off.
I agree about the minis. I have a hard time paying for any of them as they're most of the "free" content I can actually use in the PS+ service.
