It's a clicker game the same type that are popular on smartphones. It takes about 30 minutes to get the platinum as you're playing through the game.

The Avatar game is far worse since you could get all the achievements in less than 5 minutes by mashing the buttons in the first fight and keeping a combo going and all the achievements were attached to a combo.

The Hanna Montana game takes 3-4 hours to get all the achievements but you play through the game.

Shorter games where you still play through the game to get all the trophies/achievements I don't have a problem with. The Avatar one is the egregious example.

I actually didn't even know about the Avatar game and I'm a trophy "enthusiast".

Actually I think Avatar predates Trophies. It's the easiest 1000 GS there is, but I don't think there is a Platinum associated with it

I totally agree. It's a fantastic game. Never gets old.

I made it to the first boss and then died a couple times and gave up. Is that pretty much the whole game? Just fly around in circles killing bad guys and rescuing humans? Or is there more to it later on?

Yes.

I'm not great at games, but even the normal mode was pretty easy. Unless I tried an alternate area too soon, but that's my own fault. It's also easy to back out and go the route you're supposed to go and come back later. Fun game, I'd say it's definitely worth the $6.


As far as the sale is concerned, I'll probably get The Witcher and Mad Max. I've been sitting on the discount code that came with my PS4 back in June, which expires at the end of the year, so hopefully I can get it to apply to the sale.

Tales from the Borderlands is $2.99, I don't think I've paid more than $5 for any of the Telltale games, hoping Batman hits there some day.

Yeah, I went ahead and bought it since I think you're right about season passes being rarely discounted. It will be nice for the extra characters, and i'm sure i'll revisit the game soon too.

Some decent titles in the list, I've been meaning to pick up the new Tomb Raider game. I'm disappointed that Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted 4 aren't discounted at all. R&C is only $20 anyway, but I know it'll be on sale even cheaper soon.

I think that's the lowest price digital Fallout 4 has been, so I picked that up. Missed the $15 version from amazon
