Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum
No, I haven't finished it. That's on the way to the end game, I imagine.
I was wanting to find the last teeth on AIW before I went in there, but it isn't a big deal since I know I can go back out.
I was hoping maybe someone would say, "Oh, those last 2 are after the party, stop looking!" Well, say that and be correct.

Gotcha. No clue on the teeth, but I know they're not after the party.
I was getting messages while playing that game all the time. "What's the answer to the Zsasz riddle" Oh that thing like 5 hours and 120 riddles ago? Fuck if I remember! Good luck!

OK. There's something on the left hand side of Arkham Mansion if you are looking at it from the front. I think there were a total of 3 secrets on this side. It's the sort of courtyard area. I got one where you blow up the floor and the one up in the middle level at the end of the courtyard, but I can't figure out the last secret to save my life. I thought it might be a question mark, but there's nothing there. anyone have an idea?

I know what you are talking about, as I to could never find it, I think it was over the cast iron fence, but not on the actual building. I got it somehow because I got all the riddles, but I can't remember where...maybe it was a crate that you had to use the upgraded batclaw to pull off??

I believe there's a Arkham Codex (or whatever those stones are called) up next to the mansion, nestled between two columns. It's really, really hard to see.
If it's the last thing on the map, you can always check the riddle list from the map menu and see what type of riddles you're missing.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum
So I'm missing 2 teeth in Arkham Island West. I swear I've searched every nook and cranny and rooftop and still nothing. Does anyone remember where the last two are?
I've gone through every other section of the island and have all the riddles solved except this and a handful in the penitentiary where I'm supposed to go for "The Party".
Related to that, God I suck at combat in this game. I'm just a button-masher apparently. Closest I got was 4 or 5 dudes left. Found out the long way that countering doesn't hurt the guys enough to knock them out.

I found the missing teeth (way above the Warden's office) and also finished the Chronicals of Arkham. I'm at 85% - the challenges are a good way to let frustration out thats for sure.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum
I wasn't really in the mood to play tonight, but there was much else to do so I turned it on and continued on my quest to get all 240 riddles. I got up to 214 before turning it off, and almost 2 hours had past.
Hopefully tomorrow I can finish up the riddles, and finally go and finish up the game, as I've been delaying 'going to the party' while I got the riddles.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum
So I finished it tonight and all 240 riddles + the final Arkham thing. Gotta say, the honeymoon is over.
I loved the atmosphere. I loved the story. I loved the game until about 3/4 or so into it. At the end, it was just of "eh, let's just get there". That's probably because...
I suck so bad at the combat. I think I understand what I'm supposed to be doing with all the different moves and what-not, but when there's 6-16 guys around you at once, throw in a couple Titans and it all goes to hell for me. To the point where it's not even fun.
And the challenges are not appealing to me right now. The Predator ones look far and away the best. How in the world are you supposed to get 18k in fighting on those Combat ones? There's one guy on my friends list that has 20k on the first one, I need to find out what he did.
I still highly recommend the game for the story and the "oh shit!" moments. But I would also warn people to temper their expectations for the long-haul. Not much unlike the first time you have sex. Or so I hear...

I looked at the leaderboards and for the life of me I can't figure out how people score that high. I'm going to assume they play the game all day long! Anyone know any tricks for boosting your score?
I found the key to getting past some of the Titan/Henchmen battles was to focus on the titans and let them run over the henchmen. When you are fighting two of them the key is to get on both of their backs at one point and do some real damage.

Just finished the game tonight and I feel the same way (though not because I suck at the combat). The final boss fight was especially lame. I'll probably finish solving all the riddles, but I poked around in the challenges a bit and I don't see myself doing those for very long before getting overly frustrated.

That's exactly what I did: I knocked one of the Titan's down, jumped on his back and only attacked the other (ignoring any henchmen). That almost always results in the second Titan going to the ground just as I was about to be thrown off. For several such battles, I spent most of them just going Titan to Titan without taking any damage.

Yep. Exactly how I felt. Sucks cause I was right at that point when I talked about it on our last show. Then doing the last 1/4 of the game I had quite a different opinion. Looking forward to revisiting it again in discussion form.

Well I finally gave in and went through the last door, just beat the game on hard.
Whew, what a ride!
Now to go back and pick up the last few hidden items that I missed, but truth be told, it's only a handful.
I loved it from start to finish.
I want more!!!

Enemies take more damage from you, it takes more hits to kill enemies, the "reversal flashes" aren't present above enemies before they hit you, and the bad guys also have slightly improved AI.
I'm not sure if there are any other differences, but playing on hard makes the game that much better because it practically changes how you play the game and forces you to use your head. I thought the demo was way too simple, although I loved it, and the hard setting made it much better for me.
Heck, I wish they had included something above hard, perhaps after beating the game, but oh well.

Wow, I just finished finding all of the hidden stuff already. So now the main story is completed, and I've found all of the hidden items there. I haven't even so much as touched any of the challenges yet, so I'm just at 84% overall.
Now to dive into that.
