I must of played 6-7 hours on Saturday (very unusual for me!) and finished the game this weekend. Loved about 90% of it, but thought the final Boss Battle was disappointing.

Anybody sit through the credits and watch the "secret ending"? Guess we know how the sequel sets-up!

I played the 360 version, so I didn't have to sit through this. I sure hope Sony is working on the fully install option, because I do it with every game I play on the Xbox.

That's interesting since it still has that "extra install" message while doing the mandatory install. They should have removed that if it's only meant for the 360 version.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

i'll try to find the size of my install and see if there's extra.

I think what Chew was trying to say is - there's no option for the full disc install like the 360 has.

Yes, that's what I meant. :)

Of course, now that I really think about it: I'm guessing Sony will never actually implement that. Who will want to sit through installing an entire Blu-Ray?

I love the "you failed" animations from various character. They're creepy cool.

My last riddle is to destroy 20 Joker teeth in the building that the Library and the Doctor's office is in (I forget the name of it). I'll be damned if there are any teeth left in there after searching twice. Any help would be appreciated.

I popped the game in last night, and intended to just play an hour or two. I ended up having to force myself to stop after the Bane fight. The game is awesome. I can't wait to continue playing.

Normally i'm not one to search for every hidden secret in a game, but I'm determined to find as many of the Riddles as I can.

The Arkham Mansion? Make sure to search any areas that are located on the balconies. I found one chattering away in the deep recesses of a big file system.

Have you played the Joker maps? Those are quite cool in their own right, although there's only one variation between characters.

I haven't went through with it because I don't want it to end! I'm just running around trying to find secrets for a while. Sure, I can't do that after the main story is over, but I don't want it to be "officially" over just yet.

No. I just played one challenge map. Wait, are you talking about the PS3 Joker maps?

..and oh, how BADASS is it when you beat up and bunch of goons and Batman stands up and fixes his gloves in the "I just kick me some major ass" kinda way. The 1st time I saw that I was day-umn!!.

Dude, I totally get where you're comin' from. I 'wasted' a good chunk of the day on Saturday playing this game.

Thanks for all the good reviews. Picked this game up Friday and played it all weekend. Love it. If I had a complaint, I wish that Detective Mode was actually a little more of puzzle solving, similar to the original Condemned, than just basically following a trail.

I know how you feel, before I beat it today. I kept hanging out and looking for stuff before going ahead and ending the game. It is cool though that you can go back and explore after the game is over.

Just finished all of the Predator Challenge maps with Gold. Not to hard. Now I guess I will try my hand at the combat challenge maps. I am not going to like this one bit. At least with the Predator maps, if you mess up you can still beat it. One mistake in combat can cost you your multiplier.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

So I'm missing 2 teeth in Arkham Island West. I swear I've searched every nook and cranny and rooftop and still nothing. Does anyone remember where the last two are?

I've gone through every other section of the island and have all the riddles solved except this and a handful in the penitentiary where I'm supposed to go for "The Party".

Related to that, God I suck at combat in this game. I'm just a button-masher apparently. Closest I got was 4 or 5 dudes left. Found out the long way that countering doesn't hurt the guys enough to knock them out.

Did you finish the game?

Spoiler:
I'm assuming you mean the acheivement for being a Party Pooper? It's beating up all the dudes that were clapping for you at Joker's party for you. Like a jerk!

Unless you're talking about something else, in which case, just ignore me.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

No, I haven't finished it. That's on the way to the end game, I imagine.

I was wanting to find the last teeth on AIW before I went in there, but it isn't a big deal since I know I can go back out.

I was hoping maybe someone would say, "Oh, those last 2 are after the party, stop looking!" Well, say that and be correct.

superfro 09-01-09 03:55 PM

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Gotcha. No clue on the teeth, but I know they're not after the party.

I was getting messages while playing that game all the time. "What's the answer to the Zsasz riddle" Oh that thing like 5 hours and 120 riddles ago? Fuck if I remember! Good luck!

I haven't had any problem with the riddles at all, once I found the map in each section.

OK. There's something on the left hand side of Arkham Mansion if you are looking at it from the front. I think there were a total of 3 secrets on this side. It's the sort of courtyard area. I got one where you blow up the floor and the one up in the middle level at the end of the courtyard, but I can't figure out the last secret to save my life. I thought it might be a question mark, but there's nothing there. anyone have an idea?

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

I know what you are talking about, as I to could never find it, I think it was over the cast iron fence, but not on the actual building. I got it somehow because I got all the riddles, but I can't remember where...maybe it was a crate that you had to use the upgraded batclaw to pull off??

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

I believe there's a Arkham Codex (or whatever those stones are called) up next to the mansion, nestled between two columns. It's really, really hard to see.

If it's the last thing on the map, you can always check the riddle list from the map menu and see what type of riddles you're missing.

Also, when you have all the Arkham Codexes minus one -

Spoiler:
go back to where you left Warden Quincy Sharp (in the same room as Clayface) and scan the mark on the floor in the guard's cage.
