So it looks like while EA has the rights to the movie license, Eidos can make games based on the comic so it has nothing to do with The Dark Knight.

I looked through the recent edition of GI with Batman AA on the cover. The screenshots do look very cool. Oddly enough, a few shots of the Joker in there slightly resemble a slimmer, taller Jack Nicholson Joker. Something with the grin and face shape, I reckon.

Could this be the first decent DC game to be made? It sure looks like it IMO.

Holy Crap, those screenshots look amazing!!! Now all we need is some gameplay details and for ultimately this game not to suck....

Solid graphic novel, hopefully they can bring the same crazy grittiness to this game.

I hope Eidos doesn't F this up. The screenshots look great and adding Mark Hamill as the voice of the joker is brilliant. Now they should use Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman.

According to the trailer, it comes out Summer 2009.

Heh, you're right. I guess I'm so use to seeing just cut scenes in trailers and the game play parts they did show were short so I just assumed it was missing.

I just finished reading the graphic novel again. This game looks nothing like it, but it still looks pretty sweet.

This looks like fun. I hope they include other Arkham inmates besides the Joker (and the generic patients we saw in the trailer). I assume Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Clayface, and all the rest will be level bosses, but I'd love to see confirmation on that.

Looks good! I agree that doesn't sound like Hamill's previous Joker. I said as much to my friends, and now I'll probably get crap for it since it is supposed to be him.

Trailer didn't impress me. I hope the gameplay is pretty good. I hope the majority of the game doesn't take place in Arkham.

The point of the game is that The Joker is pulling Batman further into the asylum.
