Damn, that Netflix news is disappointing. Good thing Playon is still working. I couldn't care less about Live Primetime.

But that made it sound like only the ability to watch with others in different locations was delayed, no?

Netflix will still work, you just can't watch something in your party.

Technically all they've announced is a PC game though, so this shouldn't really be in the XBox 360 thread

Thanks I am out of warranty though so it will come down to getting a new one.

Not possible. The RROD is covered for three years. Even if it was a launch console, the three years shouldn't be up until Nov. 22.

What would be the point of watching a movie in a xbox live party?

Thats what I thought I am waiting for a response but right now it shows out of warranty . I don't want to call it usually make me want to kill people

Edit because there site blows and now it will let me send it back so whatever. The site wasn't loading properly when I tried it before so I guess there was something wrong before. Now I wait for the box. I don't have a printer right now so I might as well wait for the coffin. I guess waiting is better then paying

MST3K session.

Watching bad movies and riffing them with friends is one of my favorite activities ever.

Of course MST3K pretty much defined my high school years.

And yes, i was that cool even back then.

I hate talking during movies, even at home. That is one feature I could care less about.

I'm with you...that's not really a feature I'm interested in. Once the movie's on, sit down and watch it. I'm not a very social person, especially with things like movies. There's too many good movies I haven't seen yet to waste time with bad movies. The streaming-from-Netflix thing, I could use that.
I definitely appreciate that MS is trying to mix the online functionality with positioning the 360 as a media center, which is an interesting effort.

I'm sure this shocks those who have gamed with me but i am a pretty social person. I wouldn't want to talk through something that nobody has seen before but if you get a few people, a couple beers, headsets, and Manos: The Hands of Fate.... well the joking will make the movie.

when will we have the ability to copy and play games directly to the hard drive? Im kind of getting annoyed with how loud Fable2 is on my system.

Supposedly with the fall update.

I'm not sure how much it will solve the noise problem though. The fans will still be a big problem. The biggest benefit is just load time.

Ah, ok... so I should expect mine to fail on Nov. 23.

It should prevent as much CD drive access if that's what's making the Fable2 noise. But yeah, the fans will still be an issue.

Disk Space.
You still need the disc in drive I think to verify ownership.
