Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
I beat it with just Fawkes and thought it was pretty easy like that, I didn't know you could have that many followers. My current run through of the game will let me add them in though :D

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
Can someone help me. I am working on the Galaxy radio mission, and i just cleared the entire Museam of Technology, and am trying to do the Prime Puzzle Freeform side quest (the thing with the computers and the prime numbers)... I found the first 2 terminals, but cant find one that will give me the 3rd one? I know your supposed to, i think, go through the double doors into the room where the lunar lander is (where the dish is attached), and i see a terminal there, but there is no option for #003. I go back to the first two, and it says confirmed, but i dont know where else to look for this last one... An help?

Level up your explosion skill early on for the first true mission. Focus on Small Guns, Lockpick, and Speech. Others swear by Science and Repair - hard to argue with those 2 skills. Melee and Unarmed are nearly useless. May want to start off increasing your Strength so that you'll be able to hold more weight. This will come in handy later on. Your first mission outside of the vault requires a decision that will affect you the rest of the game. Without trying to spoil anything, know that going evil can be luxurious. Don't be overwhelmed by the choices and yes, that's ass-kickin' Liam Neeson doing the voice work. |

Wow.
Any word when it's out? |
Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
That's freakin' awesome. Funny to see the city of Pittsburgh committed to a video game. Think that may be the first and only time that happens.

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
Just beat this last night along with the first round of DLC. Liked it a lot more than I thought I did. Gotta go back in tonight to get the last 5 achievements. This'll be the first nonXBLA game I've gotten all the achievements on.

WARNING DO NOT BUY THE PITT DLC.
Everyone is complaining about the dlc being glitched on the 360, PC seems ok. The Bethesda forums have a thread about the problem. http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/in...p?showforum=47 http://forums.xbox.com/745/ShowForum.aspx |

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
They should be able to fix that later today. I guess.
What's the issue? (I can't access those links from work) |
Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
I bought the DLC but have not had a chance to play it yet. Hopefully it will be as simple of deleting it and re-downloading the content. The expansion looks pretty sweet!

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
From Joystiq:
Fallout 3 players have made the lives of uncreative and unnecessarily snarky writers into a living hell this morning, prompting internet blabbermouths to try their hardest not to describe the RPG's latest round of DLC as "the pits." Because it's called "The Pitt" and some people are quite unhappy about it, you see. Lodging complaints via emails to Joystiq and developer Bethesda's official forums, users who have downloaded the latest $10 add-on from Xbox Live are apparently experiencing numerous glitches in the game's environment, including freezes and texture errors. Another issue seems to be represented by ominous, floating exclamation marks invading the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Bethesda has told Joystiq that it is currently gathering information on the issue -- we'll update as soon as we know how widespread the problems are and what measures can be taken to avoid them. In the meantime, we suggest you adopt a stealthy approach and avoid being spotted by the malfunctioning landscape. Update: Bethesda is "continuing to look into the issues people are experiencing with The Pitt for Xbox 360." The company believes that the English version of the file on Xbox Live has become corrupted, and is working with Microsoft to remove and replace the file as soon as possible. |
Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
I'm glad Microsoft requires all this stuff to go through testing before they launch it.
|
Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
What have happened in the past is that they upload the wrong file, an alpha or beta version. They can do all the testing they want, but if the person in charge of sending the file to Microsoft screws up there's nothing they can do there.

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
Totally forgot this came out today. Hope they have a good version up by the time I get home from work.
