Is the economy fixed after the disaster from the patch? i haven't logged in out of frustration of that - and Skyrim

what's up man! long time no see. i have been away from D3 for a while now. I logged in to check out the new patch, but I have played it very little. I will get back into it again though. I just got a little burned out and I have a backlog of other games I am trying to put time in.

As far as the economy goes, I am not sure it is fixed or not. That was bad situation.

I got skyrim for the PC last week, but I have only played for a hour. I have really been playing Guild Wars 2 heavily as of late.

I'd like to reiterate that hardcore mode is the best thing about D3. It really adds to the suspense and ultimate satisfaction when you beat a boss. It's fun building a character and finding the perfect to gear to help you survive. I have a level 58 monk in HC mode and I'm hoping to reach 60 this weekend.

I would guess you have taken near death now you are 58?

how bad was it? I only mess with the hardcore, and the biggest problem with it is lack of items..

a few gamers found a "bug" with patch 1.08 which allowed them to duplicate gold....trillions in gold

it threw the economy a little out of whack. The RMAH was down for a while

in some ways the ps3/ps4 versions might be better by not having an auction house...as long as they improve the drop rates...

the thing with hardcore is there is good items up until level 60...then you have a BIG gap. What happens is people make it to 60, then die, and the good gear is gone for good. I can build a solid character on the normal for 1 million gold that can roll act 4 inferno, but on hardcore you are lucky to get one item for that...

Absolutely. I'm not sure how I'm going to work One With Everything into my build though, I like my dodge/armor passives...

this is the build I use, but it designed around playing with a barbarian...playing solo I would go with mantra of evasion and hard target...though the health regeneration is nice when you are frozen..

Dashing strike costing only 10 is a great skill to get out of harms way...or close on fast enemies. Blinding flash will interrupt any attack...and the damage bonus really helps even if it is 3 seconds....Obviously sweeping wind with cyclone is a must...it basically doubles my damage, and with my 35% critical chance, the tornadoes fly out all the time...

I also have about 800 life on hit..and one of my weapons gives me 70 life for each spirit spent...

Blizzard revealed it's bringing Diablo 3 to the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3 and PS4. The worldwide release date for both current-gen consoles is September 3.

The console edition of the action-RPG was originally announced for the PS3 and PS4 back in February. However, a month later it emerged Diablo 3 on consoles wasn't necessarily Sony-exclusive, and sure enough Blizzard announced the Xbox 360 version this morning.

Blizzard says both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions include all the "major content and design updates" made to the original PC game, which was released last summer. Also, pre-orders on both platforms receive the 'Infernal Helm' in-game item.

Update: When asked if Diablo 3 is coming to the Xbox One, a Blizzard spokesperson told Joystiq, "We're excited for console players to get their hands on Diablo 3, but we don't have any further platform announcements to share at this time."

I am not sure how well this is going to sell. Haven't the majority of people interested in this game already played it on PC?

I have put over 400 hours into it, and I am picking it up again on the 360

I get it for the PS3. My PC doesn't have the enough power for me to play.

Yep, I'll pick it up on the PS4. I don't own any computers strong enough to run it.

Recently got it on the PC and will likely get it for the 360 for the MP.

Have it for Mac/PC and will definitely be getting it for XB360.

I'll be picking this up for 360 as the video card in my PC isn't that great.

I guess it makes sense to buy the game if your computer has trouble or can not play it.

I rarely play Diablo 3 anymore. On a rare occasion I will log in for a few minutes.

Although with Marvel heroes out I might just play that instead since the drops are much better in the game and it does not have an AH at all.

didn't log in since Feb and found my account got hacked yesterday. after resetting, found that the guy leveled my barabarian from 20 to 60 and left me with a bunch of legendary stuff along with 9 million gold.
looking at what he did was pretty amazed. he accumulated over 900 million Gold playing my account the last 3 months.

I bought this day of release, played an hour.

I now have two characters to 60 in hardcore...a barbarian and a monk. I have a WD at level 47, but my friend lost his monk on belial (we were doing mp 3 trying to get xp faster...stupid stupid)

With my barb/monk we can easily do mp4 on inferno at this point....

Once I get my WD up to 60, I plan on working on a wizard next...Kind of made my mind up to get all classes to 60 on hardcore and beat inferno with each..

For those of you that can't play the game on your pc....you must have very old rigs. It doesn't take much at all to run this game. Download the starter edition from battlenet and give it a shot.
